No OU yesterday and no FFFC today? Come on ladies! Let's get this board back on track!

My FFFC to start this off: we have to go to a funeral tomorrow evening. I am a little ticked off that we have to give up the rare Saturday Valentine's Day to go. I know, I'm a bad person for putting my selfishness before the grieving family.

Mine (sort of my husband's too) is that my MIL is up here (within 2 hours of us) from the south for a few weeks because of a death in her husband's family. We haven't seen her in 6 months and neither of us wants to. She's been nothing but trouble and we are lying to her and coming up with excuses not to see her.

Neither of us feels guilty about it either

One of my good college friends (also was a bridesmaid in my wedding) keeps asking DH and I if she is going to be LO's godmother. I want to say "hell no!" every time. I love her, but she is somewhat of a floozy and suffers from episodic depressive episodes and goes MIA for weeks! To top it off, she has not hinted at wanting to throw me a baby shower nor has offered to help since DH and I had to set one up on our own for our adult, non-family crowd. (My mom, sister and another friend are hosting one in my hometown where my family, church family and other childhood friends are).

I'm sitting here stuffing Oreos in my face. After eating a lunch of Chef Boyardee ravioli and peaches. Apparently I'm five today. I've already been busted licking the cream out of the middle of one by a coworker!

My cousin who has always been my closest friend until the past few years is getting married. I have always agreed to be her maid of honor and do hair and make up except...she decided to bump her wedding up to april, late April. 1. I haven't had much to do with her because of her poor parenting. 2. I will be giant. 3. Our granny just passed and was the rock in our family. No one wants to be forced to gather this close to her passing. We only got together because of granny...now what. She wants to be the glue. Umm no!

So I'm a bad person because a wedding should be a celebration but, this doesn't feel like a "happy" moment to me. Not to mention her man's the douche of a douches. We all hoped they wouldn't get married. I want to protest but I can't

My Friday confession has to do with Fridays. On Fridays I work with this lady who I honestly believe is two faced and just does not like me. Which is fine. BUT, when she counts out the tips at the end of her shift (where I work all bartenders split all tips) she shorts me, usually by $10 or more (its been verified by other employees). And I don't usually get to watch cause she'll be scheduled till 10pm but just clock out at like 830 or something and before I know it she's counted the tips and clocked out (which also pisses me off). Anyways, so she also works on Tuesdays, and I am off. So I make it a point to go into work on Tuesdays for the burger special with a root beer. I pay my bill with the gal who is cooking that night when she comes out to say hello, so this lady thinks I tip when I pay, cause I'm known to be a good tipper. But I don't tip, cause I don't want her to have any as long as she keeps shorting me. I tip the cook separately later that week when I work with her.
