First period

I had my lg 6 weeks ago. I stopped bleeding over a week ago and I've started bleeding properly today bright red, not heavy heavy but a fair amount and getting slight cramps. Is this normal for your first period? Xx

I am EBF and had a period at 7 weeks pp. Mine was not as heavy as normal and it was shorter, but I am certain it was a period. I had already had my 6 week check and the doctor said it was possible to start anytime. Not as common this early with BFing, but possible.
Your OB would be able to advise you best. There is always the possibility that it is a complication that would need checked out. Giver her a call.

I got my period postpartum at seven weeks it lasted for a little over one week. Day one was spotting, then I got really heavy for about 5 to 6 days and fizzled out to very light the last remaining 2-3 days

I just finished mine last Monday. Had it for a week. Had one or two days of light bleeding but spotted the majority of the time:/ I had a c-section so idk if it's different or not from vaginal births. I also breastfeed but not sure if that's a factor

I had my first period in January, now looks like I'm skipping Feb. Anyone else have irregular periods initially? (No chance of preggers, we haven't been able to DTD yet).

Anyone else NOT gotten their period yet? I am BFing, LO is 11 weeks and absolutely no sign of AF. I know it can take up to six months when BFing.

11 weeks pp and haven't had mine yet. I didn't have one for 8 months with my first. It was very irregular for the first 5 or so cycles. I would even skip a month now and then. I'm pretty sure it was because I was breast feeding.
