I have my 39 week appointment tomorrow with my first internal check. I'm looking forward to knowing if there's any progress, but I'm not really expecting much and I know it doesn't mean anything in terms of when baby will come anyway. I don't want a Valentine's baby, but he can come any time after Saturday! I'm ready.
I really want to go shopping today but I shouldn't spend unnecessary money and I really should clean my house instead. Decisions, decisions.
* they literally broke my water in the middle of typing this.
I slept horribly last night. I had a sporadic contraction here and there, had to use the bathroom every 10 minutes (okay, I'm exaggerating, but that's how it felt) and the husbandman kept snoring. I don't feel like working today, so I'm just going to make my temporary replacement do all the work while I play on the internet.
We had our ultrasound yesterday and Little Man has sort of flipped. He's no longer sunny side up but is laying on his side. Only my child
But the ultra sound photos were amazing! His little cheeks are so chubby! And his lips, oh my gosh. He was pouting and looks so angry in the photos but he's so adorable. I wish I could upload one of the photos onto here, but I'm not cool with @Bumpadmin claiming all rights to photos of my child, so that's not happening. Oh well. I can't wait to hold my little squish!

My spam, I finally feel good enough to go to the chiropractor today. Hopefully she can help me get some sensation back in my left knee. I popped my sciatic nerve when pushing and mid thigh to blow my knee has been numb.

My spam is that I am 40+5 today. After I hit 40 weeks I had to go to dr every other and it has been SUPER annoying. On Monday she told me she "injured my cervix" and had to give me an antibiotic to prevent infection so that was lovely. Today she was actually nice to me for once. I think she felt sorry for me. I'm still only 1 cm dilated but LO has dropped as far as he can. I'm scheduled for an induction Friday at 8 am unless he comes on his own before then which is not likely (giant sigh).... I'm disappointed but at least I can cool my jets till Friday morning and stop being so anxious. I hope an induction won't throw off my natural birth plans. But we will see. At this point I'm so uncomfortable I'm just ready to have this little dude. My hips couldn't be in more pain than they are. I'm a big old pity party mess!!! But I plan on spending tmrw on the couch!
Edit: typo (no one ever deserves to be "49" weeks Prego hahaha)
And to all you other over due sleep deprived Mommas- I am right there with you! 41 weeks running on 30-60 minutes of sleep, with occasional 30 minute naps through the day. The back pain is UNREAL. And let's all just confirm that Tylenol does nothing to help with that.
My real spam today is that my husband is stationed in TX right now and gets to come home for my induction tomorrow night. (I go in at 7pm they start my meds around 10-11.) he doesn't get to come any earlier. This baby has been so stubborn. Well this morning I am having major contractions, and some bits of blood again.... I WANT to go into labor on my own. But at this point I've waited so long, I just WANT my husband to be with me!!! This baby has to know what he's doing to his momma! He's such a stinker!
@JessicaH1020 I feel your pain. DH and I were dtd (tmi) like every night and it is just too much work. I give up. This baby is not coming. IM GONNA BE PREGNANT FOREVER.
