2nd Trimester

linea nigra

I am 13 weeks tomorrow and I can see my very faint line of my linea nigra coming through! I can tell more down by my pubic bone and it fades as it gets to my bellybutton
Eek. I love seeing the progress :)

Re: linea nigra

  • Gah. That was probably the pregnancy side effect I hated most. Took almost a year to go away. Well, that and my now herniated belly button...

I'm just *praying* that my belly button doesn't pop out along with my stomach!

Its really not such a big deal if it only does for a few weeks at the end honestly. Most people's do. Mine herniated (hole formed behind it), and has been like that ever since.
  • Im pregnant with #4...no line..never had with my others either.
  • I never see my line until post partum and it takes 4-6 months to go away.
