The OB has been watching me for pregnancy-induced hypertension for the last few weeks. I do BP checks daily. I'm supposed to call if I have symptoms + a high BP read (140/90 or higher) OR if I have no symptoms with a read over 160/110. If either happens, I have to go in for labs.
It happened today. I felt nauseated when I woke up, which is a symptom of pre-eclampsia, BUT also something I've felt since 3 weeks pregnant. I usually ignore it. Then I puked. That hasn't happened for a month now. Also a symptom of pre-eclampsia. Then I got a bunch of busted blood vessels in my face from puking. I stepped on the scale and noticed a 3lb weight gain over the last week. Hmmphff. I got to work and checked my BP. 139/92. Frick.
I called the OB, got worked in immediately, cancelled all of my morning appointments, and got to hang out there for a couple hours. Urine screen had no protein, but we sent bloodwork too. I have my 'real' 32 week appointment on Wednesday to review labs.
Exciting day. Hope it doesn't happen again.

Well, no one has called me to alert me of any abnormal labs. I'll assume that means they're fine.
I wish I could have considered my hospital / clinic time a break yesterday. It was nice to get away from the normal day-to-day. Unfortunately it meant an increased work load when I was released to go back for the afternoon. I took it easy at home though, so that was nice.
Of course now my son is sick with puking / diarrhea. My husband got rear-ended on Friday. His car is driveable but needs repairs. With the way this pregnancy has gone, I think juggling 2 kids under 2 might seem like a breeze.

I'm surprising DH with a weekend getaway at an indoor waterpark near us. He can watch DS while I float my 36-week pregnant butt around on the lazy river.
I had another doctor's visit today. Labs were fine. BP was high. Baby is measuring right at 32 weeks, which sounds good, except she measured at 32 weeks at my 30 week visit too. They're moving me up to weekly visits and doing an ultrasound at the next visit to check growth.
