Cramping in the first trimester

Hey ladies! I'm 6 wks and one day today and for the past 3 weeks I've had menstrural type cramps... I've 2 ultra sounds and hcg levels are increasing as they should, even saw a heartbeat. Just wondering if anyone else out there has this type of cramping.... It tends to be worse at night too

They are unfortunately very normal. It caused me so much stress with my first baby and I was sure that I was going to miscarriage but felt so comforted to find out that it is normal. My OB has told me that it is your uterus stretching and re-adjusting to having a little one in there.

I have been cramping a lot too! 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant and cramping, fatigue and cravings are really my only symptoms ! This made me feel much much better

I have the cramping too. It was the first symptom I had when I suspected I was pregnant. I don't sways have them, just usually in the evening after work or when I lay down to go to bed

I'm 5w and 3d and just started having them today. I just went through a miscarriage so it makes me incredibly nervous. No bleeding though. Do most woman have cramping? I didn't with my son.

Since ov to 4 weeks I was cramping consistently I thought for sure my period was coming. 4w until now 5w3d I've had cramps come and go and I notice them mostly at night. I've read it's all very normal.

Whew makes me feel better to know y'all have them too! I have had some spotting. Lasted about 3 days. First day was super scary bc it was heavier than spotting in my opinion and very dark in color. I've read cramping can be normal but they describe it as a pulling or twinge. This feels more like first or second day period cramps! I totally thought I was about to start too! Actually had bought a box of ovulation tests that just came with a pregnancy test and took it just for the heck of it! Aaaand lo and behold it was positive! Big surprise! But a great one

wonder why they happen more at night....

The cramps have been horrible! I broke down and took Tylenol twice. Starting to get better for me now. My main problem now is the gas pains. As soon as I eat anything my stomach hurts. I was told to really ensure I stay hydrated.

I'm 5w3d and woke up this morning feeling zero symptoms. It scared me. Then mid day I started getting bad cramps and noticed a dot or two of light pink/brown blood. That's scared me too. It's my 1st so I think anything will scare me.
