am i the only one feeling like this?

hi girls. This is my second pregnancy. The WHOLE time I've felt like absolute crap. Nausea, heartburn, exhaustion, headaches ,not motivated, etc. You name it. I didnt have a great first pregnancy either but this time is wose. I feel like all I do is complain and I never have one day that I feel "good". I wish I were one of those women that glowed and felt the healthiest they've ever felt during their pregnancies...everyone told me by my 2nd trimester I'd feel better but not at ALL. is anyone in the same boat as me? I'm thinking between running after my 2 year old, working, and taking care of Everything else, errands, house, etc. Maybe that's why im So poopy?

Re: am i the only one feeling like this?

  • I could have written this myself. I've started my 16 month on swimming lessons this week and I'm joining the little gym with a friend just to get out of the house and have some mom/baby/friend mom bonding time. Hopefully it helps get me out of my funk. Being cooped up in the winter has been really harsh while pregnant.

  • I am in the same boat! I was one of those glowing happy great feeling pregos with my daughter and this time around (6years later) I want to just stay in bed allday! The headaches are the worst and I can't seem to find anything that will ease them! I hope this gets better soon, for all of us!!!
  • I am sorry.  This baby (baby #5) has definitely been the pregnancy I have felt the worst with.  I hope you feel better soon.  Hang in there, Mama.

  • I feel you mama! I think running around with a toddler is what makes this pregnancy harder. Before I could rest whenever I wanted and now I'm lucky if I can sleep at night :/
  • @jen302‌

I'm the same, you're not the only one haha! My worst one is motivation, it's awful. I have 0! I've never been a lazy person and I love doing things but since about 12w I've been able to do squat! I just don't have the energy and feel so rubbish all of the time! I'm 16w now and luckily my nausea and sickness has subsided but like you said I always feel "ok" or "good" I wanna wake up and feel on top of the world! I'm starting to think this pregnancy glow thing is a lie that someone horribly made up ;) haha!

I hope it gets better for you and any one else feeling this way as I know it's not a good feeling at all!

    A xo
  • Me too, I feel guilty even complaining because I don't have any other kiddos (I'm at FTM) and I work full time as a school social worker. I'm so tired and just don't feel like myself lately.
  • I feel exactly the same way!
  • Ditto on everything that has been said here! I remember telling DH before we got pregnant that I actually really enjoyed being pregnant. But now I'm like "wtf this sucks!" I read that your symptoms can be worse with baby #2 but who knows if that's true. But I feel your pain. I'm so ready to start enjoying this pregnancy!

  • I'm always so sleepy I just can't get enough sleep these days. I feel like a permanent fixture on my bed I get super frustrated I have no enthusiasm the back pain and aches have taken over, everyday I set a to do list and accomplish nothing. I just have No energy for anything .... Its becoming depressing...
  • This is my first pregnancy so nothing to compare it to. But I'm 18w and the fatigue has never left, I can't seem to get anything done. And I missed out on morning sickness during the first trimester but it's caught up now. Plus unless horrible acne is what they call "pregnancy glow", I don't have it. But oh well. As long as baby girl is ok.
  • I have felt the same way throughout and was worried I'm the only one !! And I don't have any kids to care for since this is my first! I've been constant nausea, gagging or vomiting since day one and I never feel good or feel up to doing anything other than getting through my day at work. And no glow here, only pale and very dry skin. XoXo.
  • OMG I have been feeling useless and my Fiance has been joking about it but he is not funny. I can't sleep at night so I nap during the day. I'm constantly either scavenging the fridge using the bathroom or laying in bed with gas and cramps. That. Is my whole day
  • @nalise88‌, your posting sounds like me. I'm 19 weeks.
  • I'm right there with you! I have zero motivation to do anything! DH has been great with picking up my slack but it doesn't help motivate me any. I just figure it will eventually get done. Worst of all I have a gender reveal party scheduled for next Friday which means there are chores to be done.. To be honest I'm dreading it! Also I just went into my powder room to pee for the 296th time today and I noticed plush pumpkin decorations... Yes pumpkins like Halloween pumpkins. I didn't even find out I was pregnant until December what are those still doing out?! Oyyyyy!
  • I feel the same way!!!! Not only that I feel like poop I have a poopy attitude all the time and I don't want to be that way or come off to people that way and sometimes I feel like I hurt my MIL's feelings when I say rude things
  • I feel the same way I was really worried about the headaches at first but now that my doctor says everything is fine I feel a lot better. Everyone told me it would get better too and it still hasn't happen this is my first and I'm hoping the worse one !!
