So I have to go twice a week now for stress test and today was my first one but my baby boy was doing great, I'm (32weeks & 3days) (High risk with lupus) We can't wait to meet our baby boy . :x Who else is high risk and how is baby doing ???
See. This. THIS. This is why regulars to the board get so pissy at ridiculous random questions from drive bys. You just pop in here, no Introduction, no hi hello on other threads and start demanding people to start a conversation with you and answer your intrusive personal questions about their unborn child. Because I'm a mother and have had losses and complications with this pregnancy I know how scary being high risk is so I took the time to reply to your post and let you know that there is a whole forum of women on this site chock full of wisdom and insight and wanting to discuss every detail of high risk pregnancy over on the high risk tab. What I wanted to say is why are you so up in how others' babies are doing and I think its super freaking creepy how you just bounced up in here demanding answers on why other women are high risk and asking details about their babies when you dont even know them creeper.
Please excuse me for not answering with enough syrupy sweetness and hand holding hair pets to suit you. Next time I will carry about my business instead of trying to assist a drive by with a random ass question
@bramage Wow I am high risk duhh… and let me tell something you should know… You Have Major issues thinking im a creeper… know someone before you judge… :-S @-)

Im high risk because of lupus myself!!! 32 weeks tomorrow for stress test, our baby girl is doing great, however because of lupus I've been high risk and hospitalized a few times because of the flare ups, today I got put on bed rest until delivery because lupus was apparently causing preterm labor contractions and they're worried i will deliver early...they've had to stop contractions twice now and that was just over this past weekend. I feel worthless being on bed rest I feel like now my husband has to do everything and it's not fair to him... He doesn't complain but I still feel bad!
@newmom1989 Im sorry about that I hope you get better and your baby girl comes into to world fine !!! May I ask what type of lupus you have ?.. And I've been lucky my whole pregnancy with no flare ups O:-)

Thanks!!! I have SLE, how about you? So glad you didn't have any flare ups!!! Im only 25, so im still learning to control my symptoms so that's probably why I've had a lot of flare ups, plus as a FTM, i stress easily because of how much I worry im sure you can understand that:)
I got diagnosed with lupus nephritis when I was about 17years old which is the kind that attacks your kidneys I am now 21years old a FTM also and all I do is live my normal life like I should (listen to doctors instructions) and take my medication everyday plus a prenatal vitamin for baby also a vitamin d pill !!!.. So far so good but good luck to you girl @newmom1989
I'm high risk. I have an ovarian cyst thats 6. (Something) centimeters. I have to have surgery on it 6 weeks after my baby is born. Unless, of course, I have a C-Section. Then, they'll just take it out at that time. I have to see a specialist. I have drs appointments almost every week.
High risk here due to chd. Five open heart surgeries. Seeing dr. Every 2 weeks now. I'm 29 weeks now and see them again next week. Very fortunate my baby girl looks heart healthy but we won't know until she's here! Best of luck to you with yours! And looks like that other momma needs to chill out....
Not everyone is sitting by their computer to blog away at every single post. You should really be kind to newcomers and the new moms. Life is too short to be angry and hostile to people. And if you don't want to share, no one is forcing you. @bramage
@bramage Wow I am high risk duhh… and let me tell something you should know… You Have Major issues thinking im a creeper… know someone before you judge… :-S @-)
That could almost be deemed a threat... @bramage was simply trying to point you in the direction of another board specifically for these types of post and where the women have a lot of knowledge and experience to share about being HR.
@angm212 , she was staying her frustration after she offered kind words, support and pointed OP in the right direction.
No its not ! And I don't see what direction because I wanted to make my own post about high risk mothers… but I'm done with this its over Move on now omgosh ppl @twinky0915

Making your own post when there is a community full of people who most likely are more aware/can relate to what you're going through tells us that you're either (a) New, which led to @bramage pointing you to a direction which could have led to better information and a community full of women that are all considered high risk or (b) SSing, which means you don't care what kind of advice you get and just want sympathy and hair pets.
This is a community, or was. I truly wish you the best with your pregnancy, and I am sorry that you are going through a high risk pregnancy, but your responses warranted the responses that bramage and I are giving you. She pointed you in the right direction. Most of us have been here for months/years, and there was an established community and form of posting that has since disappeared. It's frustrating, and I know it's not your fault, but you cannot get upset or offended by actual good advice.
This is not a place for hair pets and rainbows. This is not a place for medical advice. If you want a community of women who are/have experiencing/experienced what you are going through, then contribute consistently to the boards that have to do with the issues you are wanting to discuss.
@audreyyyg THANK YOU. I was actually trying to help her find whatever it was she was looking for. And I'm the bad guy. Man. Imagine if I had actually been mean about it. When I first got here and posted something that honestly belonged on a specialty board I got told the same thing just much more sarcastically.
@andreeamog,this was @bramage original response to the OP. There is absolutely nothing wrong with her response. It wasn't until the OP was super insensitive did bramage respond with a little less enthusiasm. So before you go pass judgement on someone, read the thread in its entirety. K?thanks!
Okay but honestly what was her place to say that ? She should of just said nothing I mean because common sense I already know there's post just like it ..

Uhh...it's the Internet! It's her place to say whatever she so pleases. And because common sense, direct someone to other people are in similar situations.
Re: FTM . High risk! Anyone else high risk and why ?
I'm currently 31w4d. Go to see OB Thursday for a cervix check.

1. I'm over 35
2. Our daughter died from a genetic disorder 4 yrs ago, so they wanted to do extra testing.
All seems to be fine & well as far as they can tell though.
