Pottery Barn Elephant Rocker- worth it?

The little animal rockers at Pottery Barn Kids are $50 off today and I am thinking of getting one for LO because they are just so adorable. It's a lot to spend on a rocker, but it's oh so cute and I think I may have to go for it! I'm wondering if anyone has one in a nursery/kids room and can share their thoughts on its quality? Thanks!

Re: Pottery Barn Elephant Rocker- worth it?

  • Cute?  Yes.  Worth it?  NO.  I would never ever spend $100 on a plush rocker that will just get destroyed.

  • I got an almost identical one at Marshalls for $20. PB isn't worth the cost unless you're made of money. In that case... There are tons of charities out there that could use a little extra help. ;)
  • We have a PB rocker, but it's a bit different from the ones now offered for sale. Same concept, but it's a sheep with shaggy "wool." We love ours and our daughter who is 20 months old is crazy for her sheep. She uses it every day. Looks very cute in her room, too.

  • My brother bought one for LO last Christmas. It's in his room more as decoration and it's super cute. I love it. He started riding it just after he turned one and he still goes on it most days at almost 2. It's basically in perfect condition still. But then again I love all PB stuff.
  • We have the PBK elephant rocker and DD loves it. It has held up really well, still basically looks like the day we bought it.
