While there is some drama around baby showers, here is a poll that will just hopefully be fun. Are you having a shower? Do you know when it is or will you be surprised? If it's a surprise are you peeking at your registry to try and find out when it is? What's the item you're most hoping for?

I know I'm having a shower thrown by my Mom and MIL. I have no idea when it is but I'm hoping it's soon considering I'll be 32 weeks on Thursday. I'm starting to get really anxious about getting the nursery ready. I'm a control freak so this has been difficult. I'm going to try not to peek at the registry to see if I can actually be surprised. As far as my most wished for gift it would probably be the video monitor or the MamaRoo swing. We put the glider on the registry but I'm doubting anyone will buy that for us. I put it on there mostly for the completion discount.

Registry's aren't really a thing in Tas, not sure about the rest of Aus. They do intrigue me though!
As far as date goes host and i are deciding on the date together seeing as we both have similar schedules for the next month, hasn't been 100% set yet but i assume it will end up being about the 8th of march ish if she isn't too busy then.

I had my shower already. I didn't expect anything or wish for anything in particular. A relative really surprised us and bought our crib and changing table. That's our biggest gift, huge surprise and really helped us out.

My MIL and her friends are throwing me a shower. This is my second baby. There will be just shy of 4yrs between them and I'm having a boy this time. I'm not a big fan of showers after the first but I am flattered that she wanted to throw one. I have a registry but just asked for consumables, a snuza, and infant car seat. DH and I already purchased most of the big ticket items. With my first I was gifted/purchased so much stuff that was either useless or my daughter didn't like. Babies really don't need much! I'm not peeking at my registry. I love being surprised!

I'm having a shower on Sat, I got an invite in the mail for it. My grandmother always said "You don't surprise moms!" Meaning that it's nice to know so we can put effort into our appearance.
MH's co-worker is throwing him a surprise shower with work people next month. It will be mostly men, gifts will not be wrapped. He has no idea!

I'm having a shower but mom and MIL are tight lipped on when it is--I wish I knew the date so I could dress accordingly unlike my wedding shower where I showed up in jeans because I had no clue. I'm excited for everything on my registry and have been peeking but only because I've been buying things off of it as well!

I know my mil is throwing me a shower but don't know the date either. I've been trying to get my dh to tell me when it is so I can get dressed but getting nothing.

Baby #3 so no baby shower and no registry made but my SIL has offered to host a little sip & see after the baby is here so we will be doing that.

My mom, grandma, MIL, and all my aunts are throwing me one on the 21st! I'm super excited and haven't looked at my registry since I made it. We already have the essentials so I'm just hoping for some extra toys and outfits!

Mine is on the 21st as well. I got the invite yesterday and it's happening at my house (though I'm obviously not hosting it myself), so I'm very aware of when it will be. I have to admit, I've been registry stalking like crazy, which is stupid, since many people haven't even gotten their invites yet. The only thing purchased so far is something we bought ourselves. Part of the reason I've been stalking so much is because I'm registered on Amazon, and things keep going out of stock or becoming eligible/ineligible for the completion discount...I'm constantly stressing over it. My most coveted items are my glider and mamaroo. I'm hoping a parent will pick at least one of those up for me.

Mine's this Sunday...kinda nervous because lots of family from out of town are coming in and I know I'll feel obligated to help "entertain them" this whole weekend at my mom's house and I've just been feeling sooo crappy lately that all I want to do is sleep!

Having a shower but unfortunately I will not be able to attend due to bedrest. Blah. My Mom and sister will bring the gifts over after. Hey, at least I can laugh and make faces at the ugly stuff without offending anyone. Not to upset about it. There are worse things. :-)

I know when it is, but decorations and menu are being kept a secret. I made a registry, but I will be happy to get anything. It is our first child, so I'm just excited to see everyone and celebrate our little boy.

Second baby here and no showers in the forecast (haha see what I did there?? Jk)

I have had requests from my MIL and some close friends to make a registry so I made a small one but certainly don't expect gifts. We have everything we need from DD.

Have fun at your showers ladies! I really enjoyed mine when we had DD.

I am having two. My MIL and SIL are throwing me one on Sunday and then my mom is throwing me one with our family 2 hours away. Both of my bridal showers were surprises so I told them not to make these surprises although I have no idea what my in laws have planned.

My aunt is throwing me a shower but it won't be until Im 36 weeks along. Everyone has to travel and thats most convenient time. I can't wait!

I am having a shower at work. It's not my first child so that's the only shower I'm having and I asked not to even do that one, but my co-workers were insistent. Gotta love those girls ;-)

Not having one. Had one with my first and no one really bought off of the registry cause all people want to buy is clothes lol. I'm a teacher and in the past other coworkers have had mini showers thrown for them after babies were born but it doesn't matter to me if they do or don't. We have all the stuff we need for baby. Come on April.
