Hi, do you ladies have your ultrasound scheduled for 18th, 19th  or 20th  week of your pregnancy?

    Dr scheduled next appt. for 19wk 4 day and told me to have my US first.  Which means US will likely be 18 weeks sometime.  Kinda wondering if I could push appt back til after Easter!!

    They scheduled mine for the end of my 18th week. 18+5

    I was 18w4d with my first one. They couldn't see everything they needed to, so I'm going back tomorrow at 22w4d for a follow up a/s.

    Depends on the hospital if you will get another one. My doctor does a quick ultrasound check every 4 weeks all the way to the end.

    Not sure yet. It was during my 18th week with DD. My doctor said that they have sent the request to the hospital to call me to schedule, but they haven't yet. Apparently they have been really behind and a bunch of people weren't getting in till closer too 22/23 weeks :/ I'm hoping they call soon cause that seems like it would be far enough out to screw with results. My doctor is also one that does an ultrasound about every 4 week regardless. Every doctor is different.

    I'm glad my doctor doesn't do an ultrasound every four weeks, since I pay about $110 an ultrasound. My HSA would be bankrupt before baby gets here!

    My hospital is backed up in the MFM department. I'll be 22 weeks and 6 days for mine. With my first baby I went around 20 weeks and had to go back at 24 weeks because they couldn't see everything they needed to.

    18w1d.  It'll be my third ultrasound.  Pregnant with twins so I get a bunch!  :D

    20th. My midwife warned me against going earlier because the kidneys might not be fully formed and I would have to go back

    Not necessarily true.

    We went back twice with each viable pregnancy to get better measurements of various organs.

    I also got an NST & ultrasound at 41 weeks with my son. Nothing was "wrong" & I wasn't high risk.

    Sometimes you "get to see" baby a bunch of times for routine reasons.

    To answer the question: 20 weeks originally. We went back at 24 & 26 weeks because DS was a wiggle worm & getting good images was difficult.

    After my own thoughts and all the comments from you ladies I have scheduled our US as well.  

    20 weeks....quite a wait yet but oh so worth it!!

    My first US was at 7wks, I had my 2nd at 10wks to check heart rate because we couldn't get it on doppler. Had my 3rd at my NT screen at 12 weeks. Next one is scheduled for 20wks (in 5.wk) for anatomy screen and hopeful sex determination. I also believe my office does a 3rd semester US as well, and others as necesary. I only have 800 left to pay towards my deductible then rest of my prenatal and birth is covered 100%, my bank account is very thankful lol
