I am lossssssssinggggg my minnnndddd. That is my spam for today. Another crappy winter day, there is like an inch of solid ice on the ground so there is no way I am stepping foot outside of this house for risk of falling and my cabin fever and boredom has reached a whole new level of terrible. My husband is home from work/working from home because of the weather but it doesn't help with the boredom.

How can Netflix be so terrible? How have I already watched everything that even remotely interests me? I don't know what to do with myself. I have a handful of things to clean but nothing major.. I've been nesting like a crazy person so my house is pretty much ready to go. At this point, I am just re-cleaning rooms I cleaned last week and nobody has even been in since lol.

5 days til due date, Dr. appointment tomorrow. Come on baby!!!!!

I feel ya about Netflix! I've been rewatching Gilmore Girls... After watching the full series a week or two ago.

Luckily (not to rub it in!) it's been freakishly warm here. The place where it's usually hovering around 0 this time of year, it was 55 yesterday. What?!

But oh man, I'd say labor is coming soon. The past few days I've been exhausted and yesterday, every joint ached. Oh, and everything made me cry. I was sitting in church crying and this lady next to me asked if I was okay, literally all I could say was "I'm just pregnant. That's all." Haha! Glad she commiserated at least.

Just, crazy to be so even keeled the entire pregnancy and suddenly I'm a weepy uncomfortable mess. Here's hoping baby stays in at least until we get the cats to the vet today, and if not today then hopefully not til Wednesday next week... Which means knowing this little guys sense of humor, he's coming Friday or Saturday.

Tomorrow we have an ultrasound to see if Little Man is sunny side up as suspected.

According to everyone, everything I do is a sign that I'm in labor.

"Oh, you've had a lot of energy lately. That's a sign of labor."

"Oh, you're nesting? Any day now!"

"You want to punch people in the face who keep saying you're about to go into labor? Better have those hospital bags packed!"

I know! My mother is driving me crazy. She texts me like non stop all day.. "anything happening?" "anything new?" "how's it going?" Yes, mother, I had my baby and forgot to mention it... Ugh

@babykoz214 and God forbid you don't answer the phone! We were at the car dealership signing the paperwork for our new car so neither of us were answering our phones. My mom and both my sisters called my husbandman and I repeatedly thinking I was in labor. It was insane.

Bored, hormonal, and annoyed by everyone and their labor theories!

Today is my first day not teaching and I'm trying to ignore the impulse to text my long term sub every 5 minutes. I'm inviting her over for dinner tonight and just need to see if she is actually coming. If she is, I'll have to get off my butt and clean. It's a long story, but she hasn't had a kitchen since she moved here. I thought I'd give her a home cooked meal after her first day of teaching.

Also, I'm loving (and kind of jealous, secretly) all the announcements of our boardies that are in L&D. So exciting!

I just noticed TB has an "Am I Pregnant?" quiz. Maybe they could debase themselves a little more and introduce some "Is it a boy or a girl?", "Is this my mucus plug?", and "Am I in labor?" quizzes. I'm sure they're all scientifically accurate and a lot more convenient than pursuing medical care.

@babykoz214‌ ice sounds lovely right now!!! Summer has finally arrived here and it was over 35 degrees Celsius... Every time I sat down I wasn't sure if my water broke or if it was just a sweat patch! Ewwww sorry if TMI! The heat also makes my nausea a lot worse!

Hey does anyone know what happened to Xoxolicia? She was banned but I don't recall her ever being inappropriate?

I sympathise with all moms in snow states

. This time of year I'm actually glad I live in florida. It was actually 80 yesterday. And stir craziness has been going around. I've been washing all te blankets and clothes I got from the shower folding refolding packing unpacking cleaning cleaning again walking swimming everything you can imagine. I'm driving my mother crazy lol.

xoxoalicia had said the other day in one of the threads that she knew she would be getting banned from something she posted while lurking in another month club. I don't remember what it was, but she knew it would likely get her 3rd warning and the ban hammer. They apparently just don't want anybody to remain on this board who isn't ignorantly oblivious to the old community.

I am jealous of you who are experiencing warm weather, although I do not envy heat. I've been pretty sweaty and gross despite the freezing temps. I've never been full blown pregnant in summer months, but I can't imagine I would tolerate it well.

We missed the snow today- I am happy because I really didnt want to drive to work in the snow/ice. I am sad bc snow brings on labor and I could use some of that!!

My mom decided that she wants to call me daily since last week. I told her not to, I told her (semi-jokingly) that she is stalking me and that i will get a restraining order. now i try to call her first so at least it's not during my hypnobabies practice, dinner or while watching TV.

RE: Netflix- we started watching Revenge (1/2way thru already...) next will be Parenthood... then maybe house of cards? Baby better come soon !! In the meantime, our DVR gets full of fun stuff too, so we are pretty "busy" (does watching TV count as busy....)

More time = more changing plans. Dogs will now stay home while we are in labor. mostly. Because i remembered that SIL babysits 2 kids plus her 2 and our dogs are freaked out by toddlers so.... (yeah they better get over that LOL)

Woohoo!! With it being unseasonably warm we've already gotten bugs. Hubby went to buy bug spray for the exterior of the house to prevent them from coming in, got it for $1.20 on clearance... And it's a brand we've used and liked!

I need nesting to kick in. It's my first official day of leave and I'm supposed to be cleaning my kitchen right now, but I just have no desire to do it. Ugh.

Also, why are chocolate milkshakes from sonic 1000 calories? I just had one for lunch and I'm pretty sure I'd drink one daily if I could.

This is my last week of work before starting maternity leave!!! I'm celebrating by going to see 50 Shades of Grey this Friday with a friend. Since I haven't had sexy time with hubby in a while, I'm quite excited for this! Also, having my house cleaned professionally today for the first time ever. Kinda makes me feel lazy, but also I'm loving that my bathroom and floors are being cleaned without me lifting a finger...

My spam for the day: we have become exclusive pumpers. LO just won't latch. Seen an IBCLC 4 times, tired a shield, 8 different nursing positions and he just gets angry and screams. This has been the most frustrating thing ever. I feel like I have failed as a mother. The upside is he is still getting my milk so it's something.

You have most certainly NOT failed as a mother. You are an excellent mother for going above and beyond, and you're right. What's important is that your LO is getting the most nutritious food available, which he is, so I say well done, momma.

- you're not a bad mom. I pumped with both of my kids due to latching issues and me just not being comfortable with breast feeding in general. You are still giving them the best nutrition that you can and that's what is important. Keep up the hard work as pumping to me is harder/more time consuming then breast feeding.

I'm extremely jealous of all you non-working, Netflix watching people! I am a teacher and am working up until my due date 2/26. I had a meltdown today after school. I told DH I can't do it anymore and I'm so miserable! We just can't afford for me to not work these last few days....

I just want to sleep and now I want a strawberry milkshake!

I was pregnant with my first (3rd trimester) during summer. I was miserable!! I live in NC. I didn't go out the door unless I had to-then we bought a house and moved at the end of July (2013). A little over a month before my DD was born. Not...fun!

My Monday spam is I went to the hospital because I genuinely feel like I was in labor. They confirmed I am having contractions every 3-5 minutes but not dilating so they sent me home. Wtf

Definitely not a failure! Some babies just don't latch but yours is still getting goods from mama!! You didn't give up until you had no choice. Good job mom!
