We usually don't do anything but some friends invited us over for dinner. So we're spending the day with DD since its a rare Saturday that DH actually has off. Then we're dropping DD off at my parents and going to our friends.
Nothing planned. Honestly, I'm more excited about the girls' brunch I planned for the next morning. We're gonna get buzzed on mimosas and catch a matinee showing of 50 Shades of Grey. I'm not s fan of the series but it's my BFF's bday and she is.

We have a birthday party to go to in the morning. I really want to have fun just the three of us for LO's first Vday(crafts, heart shaped food) so hubbs and I are getting the in-laws to babysit the Friday and we will have date night then (movie, dinner, ice cream) we got LO a couple of books and a card. And I got hubbs booze, and an adult game
We're visiting dh's family in NYC. I'm making up valentines goody baskets for each family that will be there, and I'll do something little as a surprise for my kids since ds has been making valentines and thinks it's fun. The day will be spent uncomfortably at MIL's apartment.
I'll do something small for dh. I don't expect anything in return. He doesn't really do gifts or things except sometimes at Christmas.
DH and I had our very first date at a Mexican restaurant on Valentine's Day 11 years ago. We usually like to re-enact that date annually at the same restaurant, but sometimes we mix it up and go somewhere else. This year I'm thinking of making a fancy dinner, but I'm lacking ideas.
We had no luck finding a sitter, so we are making the most of it and going out to an early dinner with LO and friends of ours and their baby. Should be busy but fun!
We are all going to some cabins in the mountains With DH's family for the weekend and will probably have the in laws watch LO one night while we go to a nearby casino. Just happens to be on Valentines weekend. Can't wait!
No plans here either, DH is away on an ice fishing weekend. Wine and cheesy movies for me! I've got a goodie bag for LO and DH, nothing huge. Maybe I'll treat myself to sushi and a soak in the tub.
Our anniversary is next month so I put DH in charge of Valentines and I said I would do our anniversary. Go me. I scheduled my mom to tend overnight for our first time away without the girls and made a reservation at the Melting Pot. I'm going to surprise him when it gets a little closer.
Valentine's Day will probably be less than impressive. I'm guessing he hasn't arranged a sitter yet nor made any reservations. We usually try to go out on the 13th or 15th since the 14th is usually waiting forever to get a table anywhere, plus I have to work until 7pm that day anyway. He will come through with flowers, though, I'm sure. He always has. I bought him a bunch of candy and snacks he likes for a little V-day treat basket.
DH is probably going to cook something extra special and we'll probably watch a movie at home. We also nixed V-Day a few years ago. But @lisabugg444, your girlfriends brunch sounds awesome! I read the books but the movie seems so cheesy to me! You'll have to let us know how it was.
@talltrees82 That sounds amazing. Sushi, champagne, and a big soaker tub. Too bad I live in an old house with tiny tubs and the best sushi is 30 minutes away.

I'm already thinking the movie is going to be ridiculous, but Jamie Dornan is crazy hot. So there's that.

Well, let's see. I just cleaned the cat litter and have a load of diapers in the wash. Now I'm going to start cleaning the kitchen from the dinner DH made while he is conked out in our room. He did get me flowers...
Just spent the day at home with my fiancée and our daughter. Nice to just relax. I did get to finally shave as I thought I was turning into Bigfoot. Now I'm at work and hoping the time goes by fast cause I am tired and its cold and makes me wish I was warm in my bed.
