Hydrotherapy

Anyone previously used or considering using hydrotherapy during labor? How about a birth ball? I don't want to do a water birth but the hydrotherapy during labor sounds relaxing. I'm assuming you can't be in the water after an epidural...I have an appointment Wednesday and plan on discussing with my ob just curious.

    I am definitely doing hydrotherapy, and a birth ball, and walking... Pretty much anything that I can utilize to relax me and get me through contractions. You definitely can't be in the water after an epidural, and probably won't be allowed to move at all after one. Are you set on an epidural? 

    ETA I also do NOT want a water birth, but I definitely find baths relaxing, and so I can definitely see myself enjoying a birth tub during labor.

    If you are planning on getting an epidural you'll be confined to a bed.
