Maternity belly band against radiation

Hi,

Has anybody heard of radiation free maternity belly bands?

I read on other blogs that cellphones and other mobile devices emit radiation that is very dangerous to the unborn.

Thinking of getting one to try out...

Any thoughts??

What? Just...don't hold your cell phone against your belly 24/7. A radiation-free belly band sounds like an excellent way to separate you from your money without actually doing a damn thing.

How does a belly band have anything to do with cell phone radiation?! This question honestly doesn't make sense.

Belly bands are fabric and last I checked, fabric doesn't emit radiation.

Why would you have your cell phone on your belly?

How does a belly band have anything to do with cell phone radiation?! This question honestly doesn't make sense. Belly bands are fabric and last I checked, fabric doesn't emit radiation. Why would you have your cell phone on your belly?

I think she means she is looking for a belly band that blocks the radiation from devices, not meaning that the band itself has radiation.

OP, I think you are overthinking this. Just try not to have any device resting on top of your belly and you will probably be fine.

Radiation free belly band versus a belly band that blocks radiation? Because both are a little ridiculous.

I really don't think this is so bizarre... Studies keep showing how bad cell phones are for many things (humans and even insects) so it's not surprising that a market for this kind of product is out there.

ElRuby is right, I'm not surprised there is a market for this. However, PP are correct, you would need a lead lined belly band to prevent radiation. Similar to the big ol' heavy thing you wear when getting xrays at the dentist, but it would be around your belly. So 1) I doubt it actually does anything for you except take your money and be normal belly band and 2) even if it was lead lined and stopped radiation, would you really want to wear that all the time? Bleh.

Just my thoughts ...

You can get one from the United Freedom Organization (U.F.O.) but you have to pay for special shipping because the machines most delivery facility use can actually infuse the fabric with radiation in transit. It's better if you can find a company that still offers pony express to deliver it.
