Scary mommy

Im 17 weeks pregnant but I don't feel like it, I'm a first time mommy and I'm not sure if this is normal, but I haven't gained any weight and I feel... Normal, like I'm not growing a human! Is this normal?

Re: Scary mommy

  • I'm a stm and just began to feel pregnant this week. I'll be 19 weeks Tuesday. It happened so fast and over like a 3 day period. This pregnancy is so different than my first.

  • I'm a STM and I'm 17 weeks. I was saying to DH the other day that aside from the random flutters I'm feeling I don't feel pregnant. I've got a bit of a bump but I still feel normal. This pregnancy is also much faster.

  • Enjoy it. Some people don't feel it till later on.
  • I am learning to enjoy it. I want to enjoy this time. I was looking in the mirror and im like idk y my stomach is getting bigger.
  • Im a ftm and im 18 weeks as well i feel completely normal and i might of felt flutters but not sure ... I dont really feel pregnant either
  • Try typing questions in the tool bar to see if you can find if this is has been asked. This has been asked a ton and I'm assuming you see a doctor who doesn't see this as an issue so don't worry. Be glad because gaining less means it's easier to loose after.

I'm just curious if you know how to search when you are using the app. I have been nervous to post anything for fear that I will be told to use a search bar that I can't seem to find when using the app. Thanks!
  • I'm a FTM and have not had any symptoms except sore boobs sometimes... other than that I feel totally normal too... my mom says she was the same as me, even when she carried twins.. that gave me some reassurance that everything was fine... have u asked you're mom? Or sisters about possible genetics being Involved? We're part of the lucky group though, so smile! :)

You use the search bar! Try figuring out how many people are super annoyed by constant replies to questions like this one.UGH "use the search bar" ugh shhh!
  • This is my 4th LO and I don't feel preggers this time around. At least this trimester. I was sooooo sick my first trimester but don't even feel pregnant now (aside from the growing bump). This is how I felt with my first pregnancy too. My second and third were so different. I'm just grateful I feel so awesome right now.
  • I'm a FTM as well and 19 weeks. I've had zero physical indicators that I am pregnant aside from the occassional kicks that I'm getting from baby these days. No nausea, fatigue, weight gain or baby belly. My OB says that I'm "one of the lucky ones" and to enjoy it! =D
