Helloo everyone!
Ive just discovered this site!

My story (sorry to waffle :P) My husband and I got married March 2014.. we decided to stop using contraception around November. .in January we decided to properly 'try'... and we couldn't believe it when we saw the positive test.. im due 30th sept

im currently just over 6 weeks.. but i just dont feel pregnant yet. . I keep getting the feeling im about to come on.. and just feel moody and down all the time! Does anyone else feel like that? Is it normal? Im annoying myself! Lol as im usually a happy upbeat person.... also ive now.gone into overdrive worrying about labour/money etc...... havent had a doctor's appointment yet its on friday 13th (typical lol) so hopefully i will feel better after that.
Also im not sure when to tell anyone.. maybe its a little soon yet at 6 weeks... my dad is visiting us next weekend and as he lives 200 miles away he is only here every so often and id want to tell him in person so i might have to tell him (plus he will be suspicious if i turn down wine haha)
Rachel xx
Ps sorry again for the essay lol!!
Re: Don't 'feel' pregnant yet
So to speak! Ha
Until Wednesday I felt very much the same, then the ms hit and now I feel much more pg.
I have been disappointed by how down and moody I am. I don't remember feeling so negative with ds and I just want to be happy and excited.
Wednesday we have our first u/s and then we plan to tell our parents so that will probably make it much more real.
I am 8 weeks and still don't really feel pregnant yet either. My only symptoms have been really sore boobs, being really hungry, and my back has been hurting a little. I think it's normal for you to feel a little down, your hormones are going crazy right now and that affects everyone differently. I haven't really had any mood swings yet, but certain things on TV make me tear up that I would have never cared about before. Good luck!
I say go ahead and tel your dad -- especially since you won't be seeing him so often and you like to tell him in person!
Only thing you may want to keep in mind is whether you'd mind of someone you tell early might blab it to others. We weren't too worried about that and asked for people to keep the news to themselves for a bit longer which they all understood. Except for my MIL... she did blab it to a couple more family members but we hardly see them anyway so didn't mind to much heh.
