Best prenatal workout videos?

Hi everyone, do you guys have any great prenatal videos I can download or stream online? I've been checking out YouTube but all the videos seem really amateur. Thanks!

Re: Best prenatal workout videos?

  • I got "What to Expect When Expecting" workout DVD on Amazon. Obviously, I didn't stream it, but it was only around $7. Good luck to you! Btw, I've only used it once ;) lol
  • Loading the player...
  • I just bought Suzanne Bowen's Slim and Toned. It works good as it creates modifications as you progress through your pregnanxy but also allows you to push yourself in the first two trimesters. I really enjoy it
  • I'm glad you asked this. I'm hoping there are some good videos posted. Like you, I've searched and they all seem really easy. I've been working out 6 days a week doing interval and tabata workouts. I'm worried these workouts are too intense to do while pregnant, but I don't want to suddenly go to something that's way too easy and won't leave me feeling fit. Right now I'm modifying these workouts and stopping for water multiple times. I'm thinking about purchasing a stationary bicycle as I get further along.

Good luck to you and let's keep up the fitness for a healthy pregnancy!

  • I have on demand and they have a wide variety of free videos including prenatal yoga...
  • I'm going to try Prenatal Yoga by Shiva Rea. It was rated highly on Amazon so I downloaded it on iTunes. There aren't a lot of options of this sort on iTunes, so I hope it works out!
  • So I've now done half of this video. It's okay. It's a little too flower child for me. There's a lot about "picturing your baby enjoying the workout too". I'm a very active person but don't have a lot of experience with yoga, so the moves are the right level of difficulty for me. Still, I prefer weight lifting.
