Abnormal/Absent Diastolic Flow on Cord Doppler

Hi Ladies,

I am 21 weeks pregnant with twin girls.  One of my babies experienced absent diastolic flow in her cord doppler's early on (weeks 13-18), however she grew out of it.  At 21 weeks, the issue is back and my maternal fetal doctor has scheduled me to have a fetal echocardiogram next week at the Children's Hospital.

I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue?  I'm trying to research it online, however there isn't a ton of information regarding outcome - just really scientific explanations and journals.  I'm worried about my little baby and wondering how serious this really is, and how worried I should be.

Thanks!

    Hi, I'm a FTM...
I'm in the hospital with the same issue but also IUGR. I'm 30w3d. I'm also experiencing high blood pressure, but not preeclampsia.
Right now they are concerned about the size of the baby along with the diastolic flow...
My friend recommended the Brewer's Diet to help the flow and the baby grow.
It IS hard to find info on...
    Good luck to you!
