Menstral like cramping?normal?

It seems like at exactly 20 weeks I started having period like cramping in my lower abdomen and pelvic area. It's not severe but definitely uncomfortable. I called my dr and was told it's not extremely common and to take Tylenol and go to ER if I start to bleed. Is anyone else having this? I'm really worried

    I've been having that too..it scares me so I'm just trying to drink a lot more water and if seems to be getting better. That may be the car with you?

    I'm almost 20 weeks and I've had a few nights of cramping too. I've just tried drinking more water. I won't be too worried unless it gets more frequent or I start bleeding.

    Thanks ladies for responding! Yeah, drinking water has helped a bit and I've been off my feet all morning and seem to be feeling much better! My husband said my belly looks rounder and harder this morning so maybe my girl had a growth spurt over the last few days... Keep me posted if you find out anything additional:-)

    I got woke up by that feeling a couple nights ago I also had some pressure so I called my doctor and she told me to go to the ER. Found out I have an infection and doc said that could cause the cramping. I didn't notice any other symptoms other than cramping

    I've been having them as well, my OB says a lot of it is growing pains.
    She said the only time you should worry is if they are consistent throughout the day
    and do not tapper off and if bleeding starts.

    This is actually very common. I don't know why your doc would tell you it isn't. Not trying to be snarky at all either. Try not to worry

    I would always talk to your dr.
    I had similar symptoms a week or so ago and called in. My Dr. wasn't concerned at all and said it was completely normal. She just suggested that I stay hydrated. I hope that you figure things out!

    I've had that crampy, period feeling off and on since the beginning. Baby is fine and I haven't had any bleeding, so I am not worried. I can see it would be really concerning if it came on all of a sudden, though! Hope everything is fine and it goes away for you, because even if it's normal, it still is not a good feeling.

    He said its bacterial vaginosis.
