Hi ladies! I feel you guys are a little late in packing? There have been a few threads about packing for the hospital that I found extremely helpful. I can't remember everything that I packed, but snacks were on the top of my list
I've got yoga pants, nursing tanks, a zip up hoodie, couple of tshirts, travel sized toiletries for myself and DH, a couple of outfits for baby, pillows for myself and DH, clothes for DH to sleep in and lounge around in (we live over an hour from where we are delivering), breast feeding pump and electronics like the iPad and the chargers. The hospital told me on my tour to bring a hair dryer because that's the number one most requested item they don't have. Not sure I really care to go to that much trouble with my hair, but I still might toss it in.
Honestly, the hospitals around here provide pretty much everything including underwear. So I just went with clothes to go home in for baby and I, my own hygiene products, and then some slipper socks and a phone charger.
No joke the best advice I had with my first pregnacy to pack in my hopsital bag.... depends!!!! The pads and underwear the hopsital provided was a joke, one size does NOT fit all. One less thing to have to mess with after delivery.
I've heard not to waste the effort of taking hair dryers/curling irons/etc. Idk about you but I'm completely fine with throwing my hair up and not trying to look like a model within 48 hours after giving birth. Just a light amount of makeup will do it for me.
Nothing, so far. I have 21 days left until EDD so I'm not stressed about it. When we went to L&D at 27w with some issues we only brought our wallets. DH could go home and get whatever we needed later. So if I forget to bring anything when labor starts I'm not really worried about it.
Although, now that it's out there, some wine wouldn't go amiss...
Honestly I keep it simple. I have ever only been in the hospital for exactly 24 hours with 2nd Anderson born. I bring.. Bra, lots of panties unless I choose to use the mesh panties, pads, nursing pads, toiletries, towel 1 set of pjs, socks, two outfits, two outfits for baby, blankets for swaddling. I keep it completely basic.
The best thing I brought in my first bag was a little makeup and a flat iron. I don't have to wish I looked somewhat presentable in the hospital pictures. Plus it helped me feel more put together throughout the day. This time I packed the same but will also make a bag for DH since its a RCS and we will be there a few days.
@HayleyBug55 yeah you are being rude...if I want to ask others what is in their bags I can and i will...google search isn't as personal as asking on here and getting real time advice...a lot of stuff posted on these boards gets asked over and over so if you don't wanna rehash it do yourself a favor and skip to the next thread...

Also, for those of us that have been on here for months, seeing the same posts over and over gets a little redundant. Hence why I answered wine. I can't take these topics seriously anymore when we've already repeatedly beat this dead horse. That's why everyone that has been on The Bump for awhile recommends that you take some time to go on different boards and look at the different threads so you don't bring up topics that rehashed over and over.
My serious advice, check out the Third Trimester board. There's currently a post about what to pack and there's a video link included.
I'm being induced in 3 days 19 hours and 43 minutes (not that I'm counting or anything) lol. I preregistered at the hospital a few weeks ago. I packed my registration papers, birth plan, contact list, basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, face wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, q-tips, floss, etc.), robe, cozy blanket, towel, comfy undies, 2 nursing bras (one to sleep and one to wear home), socks, slippers, yoga pants, tank tops, sweatshirt, and some things to stay occupied (e-reader, laptop for movies, card games, music, etc.).
Being at the hospital for 3 days after my son was born made me think about what I would need for before, during, and after labor. Mainly just papers that the hospital needs, things to be comfortable for after the baby, and things to do when I have those precious down time moments during my whole stay. I don't know how the hospital food is going to be at this location either so I also made sure to pack a gift card to a smoothie place that I am in love with. At least that way I can get some vitamins, proper nutrients that I will need to breastfeed, and easy to access with one hand.
I personally love the undies and pads my hospital uses so I didn't worry about packing any. I did pack a coming home outfit, flip flops, some onesies, my sketchbook, my journal, a blanket I made and when it's time I'll just throw my purse in there too. I should pack hair stuff too... Hospital conditioner is a joke and bad one at that.
Ask your hospital, most will provide everything you need. When I asked the literally told me to bring a car seat and my vagina. Google it, there are some great checklists out there that cover anything you could think of.

And you know, stuff for the baby.
Red or white?

There's no need to respond like that. @HayleyBug55 made it clear that she wasn't trying to be rude. She was just recommending other places you can look to find the answer to this. The most comprehensive list I found that I wound up using for my packing list was after a Google search (https://captainhambone.typepad.com/not_that_you_asked/2006/10/the_great_big_h.html).
