10 Weeks Pregnant

Feeling the baby at 10 weeks?

I just let out a sneeze and I'm sitting with my knees kinda of close to my stomach well, i just felt jumping for like 2 sec, then it stopped right where the baby would be. I started laughing, I wasn't sure if I had scared her/him or not, what are your thoughts?

  • Awesome!...I haven't yet but looking forward to it!

  • I think I have and I'm 10w2d
  • I felt mine move for the first time today, and I'm 9w2d. It was in the same week that I felt movement with my first pregnancy as well.
  • I can randomly feel it too. It's super light but I'm pretty sure I can feel movement. They said you don't really feel it until week 16 but since we know our bodies its possible to feel it before then. I'M SO EXCITED!!!
  • You feel the baby earlier with each pregnancy. I'm 10 wks and this is my 3rd l have been feeling the jellybean gor a few wks now. And I'm huge for 10 wks my cousin is 19 wks and I'm ad big as her..
  • lmao...that's definitely NOT your baby you're feeling. You're most likely feeling gas..
good news is baby's in there AND kicking, but they're so small and weak, pair that with your thick uterine lining, walls of fat, and muscle.. you won't be feeling them for another 6 weeks
  • This is simply not true! Every woman is different and feels baby kick at different times. Especially if this is your second or third or fourth, so on pregnancy. I'm 10 weeks along in my second pregnancy and felt baby move for the first time last week. You're more in tune and able to distinguish gas from quickening after you've already felt kicks in a first pregnancy. When you know you know! And everybody's different!
  • I agree with you! Everyone is different and some women are much more in tune with their bodies than others. I know I am. It's the same way some women "just know" they are pregnant before it shows up on a pregnancy test. I say if you think it's the baby...it probably is!
  • Ill be honest, before this second pregnancy, I'd say your crazy and that its gas bubbles.
But now, I swear I felt it about a week ago... It felt exactly like it did last time when I had flutters. That was at 12/13 weeks last time. 9/10 this time. I think if you are really in tune with your body and now what to feel for, you very well could feel it this early.

  • I agree...this is my fourth pregnancy and I am at 10 weeks...my peanut is still a little lazy but with my 3rd pregnancy I felt movement around 10 weeks. GAS is very uncomfortable and/or you usually pass it quickly. The little tickle or flutter you feel, especially if you have experience and in tune with your body, is definitly the pea in the pod! Good luck everyone :0

This is most likely gas! Way too early to feel baby yet:) my dr said second time moms can feel baby around 13 weeks at the earliest. Your baby at ten weeks is the size of a prune! Hang in there you will soon feel baby!
  • I'm pretty sure I could feel a prune banging around... Though I guess it's just arms and legs moving at this stage.
  • Ha. That's definitely not true. This is my third and I felt the baby flutter just at 9 weeks. And I most definitely know what I'm looking for. Sorry!
  • With my first baby I felt him move at 14 weeks and people looked at me like I was crazy I am now in my tenth week with my second pregnancy and I have felt the little flutters. You know your body more then anyone, especially if it's your second baby, you know what little flutters and movement feels like. :
  • This is my second pregnancy and I felt the baby flutter. I don't know why some people have to be so negative. If you think its the baby it probably is unless your stupid you can usually tell if its a gas bubble.
  • Aw: congrats, this is my third pregnancy and im ten weeks today i can feel flutters for about a week now i love it good luck all of you and your little ones
  • I also sneezed this morning and felt something moving but wasnt sure what it is. Then a few hours later i sneezed again and got cramps in both my ovaries. It was weird! Not sure what it is.
  • Every big sneeze i feel a weird flutter.  I think it's the uterus more than the baby.  But, who knows.  It's an interesting feeling, FOR SURE!!

  • Had my 10 week ultrasound (our first one- and I'm a FTM!) today and it was literally the best thing ever!
Saw our little sweet-pea and fell in love.... and SAW him/her dancing and wiggling, kicking and waving... so incredibly awesome and cute.
But I haven't actually felt it yet, every once in awhile, I get a feeling like it's planted on my right side and I can feel it, but it's likely just ligaments stretching.
