I been having neck pain, headaches n a sour throat every so often n a lil scared to take medicine. This weather has me down! Does anybody know what is ok to take at 25 weeks preggo?
I am experiencing the same thing! I try not to take any medicine but I felt like I would have to this time. Tylonol is safe to take. But if you run a fever at all I would go to the doctor just in case. I did and they were really glad I came in and gave me amoxocillin which is also safe and used for bacterial infection (and many other things) which won't go away on it's own.
If it's allergy related, try a saline nasal spray. I was getting horrible headaches, congestion, drainage, and a sore throat and finally picked up some Ocean Spray and it's been a life saver!
I would ask your doctor. I am a "gut it out" type person, pregnant or not because I don't like taking stuff. Drink tons of water to flush your system. Drink a good decaffeinated tea with lots of honey for your throat, or even hot lemon water with honey, always works for me!
This website is a good one to look up safe meds. My BFF midwife (whom I'm switching to) gave it to her. I second the tea with honey! Great for sore throats.
