First Cycle after MC questions

Hello,

I had a natural MC on January 5th, and when my doctor did an ultrasound the next day everything was completely cleaned out. I stopped bleeding that day, and felt fine (physically). So last Friday, I started spotting (super dark brown). Only a tiny bit, maybe three times a day when I wiped, for like... 3 days. Maybe 4. After that stopped, I've had a few cramps here and there, but that's it. I have no signs of AF.

What were your first cycles like after MC? Anything similar? It just seems weird.

My D&C was on 12/10. A couple weeks ago, I had exactly the spotting you described. Since then, still no sign of AF & it has been 7+ weeks. I don't think I can really count the spotting as my period, so I'm still waiting.

No, I was told to wait 3 months from the D&C date. I actually just got AF today, oddly enough. it took 7.5 weeks.

Oh! Did you have any cramping or anything? I've had some mild cramping. But nothing major. We were able to start TTC again right away, but I wouldn't even know when to expect an AF to take a test. I'm assuming the AF is coming soon. But who knows. Bodies are so crazy!

I did have cramping, as well as my telltale acne explosion. Now that it's here, the cramps are worse than in the past, but not unbearable.

You're not kidding, our bodies our so complex. And they've been through a lot recently, so they are extra crazy!

It took me roughly 5 weeks after my MC to get My AF. It was a bit of a slap in the face but thankful that my body is healing. I cant dislike her for that.
Now... We're trying again and it's taking an emotional toll on me.. Especially now that everyone seems to be announcing that they're due around my EDD.

Sigh.

Mine was the same as normal and occurred a month after my natural miscarriage.
I bled for two weeks straight after my miscarriage though.

My first AF after my miscarriage was also similar with a lot of spotting and very little blood. My second AF was very heavy but still started with spotting five days before it started.

Now (five months later) it is finally back to normal (although I've been ovulating, tracked through BBT) since the second month.

I also had cramping and went to the doctor with my concerns. I was told it was normal as the uterus was getting back to it's original size (as long as it's not severely painful, localized to one side or accompanied with foul smelling/ looking discharge).

It took 4 or 5 weeks for my first AF to arrive after MC. I've been waiting 3-4 cycles before starting to TTC again. I have noticed AF is different now than it was pre-MC. It's subtle, but different: fewer days bleeding, more cramps at the beginning and never sore BBs. So odd.

I had a natural MC on January 7th and this is my first AF since. I have cramping and pain stronger then before. As for my flow it is very heavy and waiting to see if it stays this way. All this is just a little worst then before my MC. You should know however that during my MC I was in horrible pain for the first 24 hrs and bleed for 8 days (4 of those heavily).

I know exactly how you feel. It's so hard. I had to stay away from my email because of the bump weekly updates. I'm just changing it today
