Do you have any cute or funny stories of how your family/friends/pets are coping with your current stage of pregnancy?
After months of not getting how physically limited I've been, DH has started apologizing for me having to be the one to carry the baby, every time I describe a symptom. I don't see it that way.
He also tries to interact with the LO through my belly (poking, and trying to talk through it). I have to keep reminding him that LO is not a toy and not to be experimented on. I'm not sure I'm going to have much control over that once he's here.
Also, DH has been going around yelling February 7th! We agreed to stop swearing (mostly him) on Feb 7th so we'd have enough time to practice before my EDD. 'February 7th' has become his substitute swear word.
Re: Cute ways your family is coping
Mostly I've noticed that my two cats are somehow in the know about LO. The one cat that usually ignores me has taken to sitting next to me on the bed or trying to sleep next to my head, hogging my pillow. This is totally new behavior for him in the past 2 months or so. The other cat I have dubbed 'Ewok Praetorian Guard' because he has started just hanging around me all the time, and will chase off the pillow hogging cat if I'm disturbed too much. He has also put out a paw in a 'stop' gesture sometimes if DH reaches toward me and kitty is on my lap. He generally just runs interference, or sometimes tries to massage my boobs by kneading them.

DH has been amazing, really stepped up. Makes "dinner" when I'm just not feeling up to it or when I got put on bed rest for a few days, he wouldn't let me lift a finger.
My kitties have been obsessed with laying across my belly. They used to prefer MH or laying next to me, but now I swear they know and think they need to incubate the LOs.
**I must explain "dinner" is MH cooks something consists of grilled cheese or something he can warm up. I love him for trying though.
This is how it is with me also. Except for DD. She's 2 and the only one interested.
