So i had to have a scan on tuesday and the midwife said she couldnt get a measurement of the head because baby was too low!! Does this mean shes gonna be here soon? I mean my bump has dropped but i havent had many BH's has anyone else been like this? Ive had a stomach ache (like period pains) do these mean anything? Because im a FTM i dont know what to expect, al i know is that im so uncomfortable and irritated.. Can anyone give me any advice? Or anyone in the same boat??

Oh & im 39weeks 2days and Also lost my mucus plug over a week ago now!!

It depends on what you consider soon. My crystal ball says your baby will be here sometime within the next 2 weeks and 5 days.

I am also a FTM but the birth class I took taught me that once the baby's head engages that means it is getting ready. Prob within the next two weeks. Also... The BOOK I read said period cramps could be a sign of labor and the GOOGLE search I did said once you loose your mucus plug you usually give birth within two weeks. That's all I've got. You could also CYD for ore info. In my opinion the baby will probably be born within the next two weeks. Good luck!

My LO has been down as low as he can get according to my doctor for 3 weeks now. I get timeable contractions off and on and massive BH contractions. I'm not dialated in the slightest. Every pregnancy is different. None of those symptoms mean anything until you are in active labor.

Oh and your mucus plug can regenerate. It's not necessarily a sign of imminent labor. I'd be more concerned with a bloody show.
