Mommy of 5 I'm 40 +3 and only 2 center meters and 70% soft . My doc is old fashion holding off til next week to decide if will induce (baby is fine ,fluid ,and movement) I'm worried if he waits to long I might need a C section. I've never had a issue with delivery ,all vag and quick ! This time just seems as if it's not kick starting . I've done a few of the natural suggestions like walk , massages , inter course , and squats but nothing :/ I'm worried that it's not going to start n I will have to be induced or worseC section ... Any thoughts , suggestions or stories related ?

    I'm 40 weeks and no effacement or dilation. Some babies just need a little extra time. I don't think waiting will lead to a c- section. Usually it's just if the baby ends up in distress. I have an induction scheduled at my 41 1/2 weeks, but it could happen naturally before then. I would try not to worry too much and just let the body and the baby do their thing for now :) just like my LO- he/she might just like it in there a little too much lol

    I needed to hear that ! So many nurses saying other things had by brain thinking crazy lol... Yes I gotta say maybe my L/ O does like mommys cozy tummy lol Congratulations and may all be well !.... I can't wait to see my L/O and find out if he or she has daddy's eyes Thanks again !!!!
