Our second son is due in April.This time around it has been very hard for us to pick a name.We have FINALLY decided on a first name. Kaelem. Any suggestions for middle names? We are playing around with Lyric, Micah, Meric, or Phoenix as middle names, but nothing has really clicked for me. Thoughts and suggestions welcome. Thanks!

    I'm not familiar with Kaelem...how would you pronounce it? Is it a different spelling of Callum?

    Where did you find the name Kaelem? I've never heard of that before. How about Caleb? Lyric is a girl's name. Micah is fine. I have never heard of Meric. Where did you get that from? Phoenix, I just don't like but it's ok in the middle spot.

    Is it pronounced Kay-lum or kah-lum? I've heard of a guy with the name merick but it's actually a European (I think polish) version of mark. I think if you took off the m and just used Eric for the middle name it would sound alright. But having the first name end in m and the middle name start with m I think is a bit much.

    It's pronounced Kay-lum. I found it in a baby name book. All of the middle names I mentioned were in the same book. I didn't change any spelling it's just how I saw it in the book. DH likes names that start with K. So that's what we were looking for. I just don't think any of the middle names go great. My older son is Damian Isaiah, I knew I liked it right away. This time I don't really LOVE any names :neutral_face:

    Yeah, I'd try again, and look for something in the same vein as your other son.

    I've never heard of Kaelem, but I like it. Of the middle names you listed, Phoenix is the best. Lyric sounds like a girl name and the fn ending with m and mn starting with m doesn't really flow.
