I was just in labor and delivery and I lost my mucus plug and Iam 1 cm dilated having contractions,they gave me a pill t o try and stop the contractions,because iam 34 wks..and she is still small what are my chances making it until march 10th my scheduled c section?

I'm sorry you are going through this. Just follow the doctors directions and take it easy. My bestfriend had two preterm scares and was given magnesium to try and stop the contractions and she's now at 40 weeks and 2 days!

I haven't lost my mucus plug yet but I was kind of in the same boat as you last week. I am currently 3cm dialated. Have been for a week now. The medicine did stop my contractions and I've been feeling pretty good. I am on bed rest currently and will stay until my c section March 4th. And that is 3 weeks earlier then my actual due date due to me being high risk. Hopefully your drs know what they are doing and they will be able to give you what you need to keep that baby in there. The only people who can give you that answer are 1) the medical professionals you just saw in L&D or 2) your doctor.

You're not stepping on toes. But it wouldn't matter if anyone else had been in the same situation, because every situation is different. No one here knows your medical history, no one here is (or admits to being) a medical professional. You could go into labor tomorrow or you could go to March 10th. In my personal opinion, there is a 37% chance you will make it to March 10th, but that doesn't really help you does it?
