This happened to me constantly in the beginning of my last pregnancy. It's starting again, but so far, not as bad. The worst was when my hips would fall asleep. So weird.

  • I had that really bad with my first pregnancy. My right arm was numb a lot. My ob said it had something to do pregnancy and the veins in that area.. Can't remember exactly but it's normal. Just weird.
  • Has anyone figured out a way around it? My arms go numb about 4-5 times a night..it's getting really hard to sleep.
  • Yes, I get this in my arms and my feet.
  • Yes my arms are falling asleep at night from sleeping on my sides. I just keep rotating all night and then I'm exhausted from the broken sleep. I think I'm going to get one of these pregnancy pillows to see if it helps. I researched it and it's normal. Some women get carpal tunnel while they are pregnant from the increased blood volume compressing things.
  • I wondered about those. My next appointment is Friday so I'm going to ask my doctor for any ideas. Sleep is hard enough to come by without waking up every 2 hours with dead limbs.
  • Guys I had this last pregnancy!! Particularly at night when I was trying to sleep my hands and arms would fall asleep. The doc said carpal tunnel is common in pregnancy even if you don't have it before or after pregnancy. Also I had tingling in my face later in my third trimester and they said it was Bell's palsy or something like that. It wasn't permanent and it went away after a week or so it was just weird and uncomfortable.
  • @inLOVEalready715‌ totally missed your response but agreed it's definitely the carpal tunnel
