I've already received some feedback on this board already for help naming my b/g twins and would love to thank all that have helped so far and appreciate all the help in the future. I'm a bit fixated on naming these babies right now so apologies for 2 posts in a matter of days.
Our sons are destined to both have English names (my husband's heritage - William and Pierce) and I would love it if our daughter had a name that reflected my French heritage. I have a couple of French names on my list, but I'm looking for more to consider. What are your favorites I should add? Thoughts on these ?
Elise
Eloise (technically English, but the French version is very similar)
Estelle (not my favorite, but it is my great grandmother's name so figured I'd add it in)
We considered Sylvie to honor my grandmother named Sylvia but it just didn't feel right for our non-french family lol Still, I find it shocking that it is so unused. It's lovely to me!
I love Juliette... we used it for my daughter's middle name back in 2012 before it was on the most popular names list! It still doesn't break the top 50 though so that still makes it a good name in my book!
Re: Favorite French girl's name?
Elise is beautiful! My fav is Madeleine, but there are too many Maddies. Also like Evangeline with nn Eva or Evie.
Lucienne
