My baby will be 2 weeks tomorrow and I noticed yesterday that my milk production had really increased to the point where he isnt able to completely drain the breast. This coincides with him statring to sleep for longer periods at night, so I realize my body is still figuring out how much to produce. I usually would feed him on one side until it got soft and then offer the other breast. Like I said though, one breast now has way more than he needs. I read on kellymom to try feeding him on the same breast within two hours of the feeding to help drain it, but I ended up over feeding him and he spit up (yes, I feel terrible). How can I make sure he gets the hind milk? We don't have frothy green poops yet, and I would like to know if there is a way to prevent that before it becomes a problem. Maybe, I am jumping the gun though and just need to wait it out. Any advice is appreciated!
