Bedtime bottle

I still give my seven month old a bedtime bottle. He usually gets 32 ounces of formula a day plus a few ounces of solids for breakfast and I try to give him a few ounces for dinner but lately he has been refusing. Is he too old for a bedtime bottle? When should I start weaning it? I am dreading it. Any advice would be helpful.
