What is(are) your current LO(s) doing/how old? DD is 8 months old and is crawling, pulling herself up on everything, and climbing stairs.

How far along are you? 10w, 5d

Does anything worry you about being a 2u2 mom? Stress! I'm so worried about being stressed...I'm already stressed all the time with one, can't imagine how it will be with two...a newborn and 15 month old.

Seeking any advice from BTDT 2u2 moms? Not yet!

What is(are) your current LO(s) doing/how old? I have a three year old, and a 13 month old

How far along are you? 12 weeks

Does anything worry you about being a 2u2 mom? Yes. I know I am going to have an incredibly hard time just getting out of the house,. and DD1 will have preschool and activities that I will HAVE to do. I also feel guilty that DD2 is not going to get to do anything really on her own. I had been thinking that DD2 would be old enough to do fun things like baby gym class etc in the fall once DD1 was in preschool, but now I will have a newborn too!

Seeking any advice from BTDT 2u2 moms? Would love tips on how to manage my will be then 20 month old while I am spending lots of time nursing the new baby.

I have an 18 month old DS. He's a lunatic, in the best way possible. We're really trying to get him to talk!

12 weeks this week

I'm worried that DS will feel neglected. He's my special little buddy right now and I don't want to hurt his feelings. But if #2 has collic like DS, they require a lot of attention!

What worked well to prep baby 1 for baby 2's arrival?

I have a 15 year daughter and a 6 1/2 months old daughter.

How far along are you?

I am 10 weeks and 5days.

Does anything worry you about being a 2u2 mom?

Pretty much everything. But mostly, I am worried about getting out of the house with 2 LOs. I am a working mom with an hour commute to work and to my youngest daughter's daycare. My daughter does fine on the way in, sleeps mostly, but I wonder how adding a 6 week old to the morning mix will be.

Seeking any advice from BTDT 2u2 moms?

Not yet, but the closer the due date gets the more I am sure I will be asking.

Does anything worry you about being a 2u2 mom? A lot of things! Like, how am I going to handle 2, the stress, trying to keep up with the house since I'm having a hard time already, not sleeping (I'm one who NEEDS sleep and lots of it), and just how am I supposed to continue to care and love on DD when I'll have a newborn!!

Seeking any advice from BTDT 2u2 moms? I'm not even sure what I'd ask.

What is(are) your current LO(s) doing/how old? 13 month son. first significant illness...temps sending me to children's hospital. other than that, he's awesome!!

How far along are you? 12 weeks

Does anything worry you about being a 2u2 mom? getting in and out of the car/house. messing up the routine we naturally made for ourselves...how will the needs of the new one impact the smoothness we've had in transitions. sick days...I'll likely use them all on maternity leave, then i have to try to get through the school year with 3 people's potential needs for sick days. Nursing and pumping...I made it a year with #1, I pumped in the car, at work and nursed profusely at home. Can I really hope to keep that up with two babies needing attention plus a family (hubby and two steps) that can't seem to do anything without me? yeah, just a bit stressed.

Seeking any advice from BTDT 2u2 moms? LO will be 20 months when newbie comes. Do you think I need a dualie stroller? If so, advice on side by side or front and back and brands.

From BTDT 2u2.... As far as nursing and what to do with the older child... BOOKS! Or something special they do only during that time.

Stroller. We have a sit and stand stroller as it grew with us. I also wore DS2 a lot in a good carrier.

As far as prepping DS1 for #2... We talked about it a lot! Got the baby stuff out and ready so he could learn it was for the baby and not him..

Does anything worry you about being a 2u2 mom? Everything! But stressing over daycare costs currently, as paying for 2 is going to be costly!

Seeking any advice from BTDT 2u2 moms? Not yet but im sure i will be!

With DD1 I also had an extremely long labor, and it was AWFUL. I was terrified with DD2...especially when I went 10 days past my due date, and had to be induced. The second time around was so much easier though. I was only in labor for 8 hours, and it was a much much better labor. DD1 was also a VERY difficult baby. At 13 months her sleeping through the night was only until 4:30 am, and she didn't start sleeping until 6am until 22 months. I think because I was so mentally prepared for the possibility of that happening again that when DD2 was born and was just a much easier baby it felt like a dream. DD2 still had her moments...we dealt with food intolerance like I did with DD1, but once I got everything out of my milk by about 8 weeks she was sleeping good stretches. So I am hoping you have good luck with the labor and the sleep!
