Girl Baby Name Poll

Hello!

We are having our first baby this May and cannot decide on which name.  What do you all like better?

Caroline Rose
NN:  Cara (maybe...not sure what a NN could be?)

OR

Eleanor Rose
NN:  Ellie

Or any other middle name or nickname opinions/suggestions, please.  :)

    I like either. My mum is Caroline and she HATES the nickname Caz which people use without asking.

    That being said, the baby name board might be a better place for this question, the ladies are v helpful there!

    I actually love the name Caroline just as it is. I know quite a few and they dont have a shortened version. 

    I dont like the Eleanor, but I think Ellie is cute...

    I love both names, but I am not a fan of pre planned nicknames.  Our youngest is Eleanor, and I thought she would end up being called Ellie, Elle, Nora, Norie, something other than her full name, but she is Eleanor though and through.  It makes a lot of old women smile to hear that name used again...

    Awwwww you have an Eleanor!! I LOVE the name, but my hubby isn't sold on it.  Thinks it's too old, but loves the name Ellie.  I'm an Elizabeth so I we don't want to use Elizabeth again.  I'm just big on having a solid name and then a nickname for fun.  I guess it's because all my life I've been Liz, but on official documents, school, etc...I'm always Elizabeth and I like that!

    What's your Eleanor's middle name?  :)

    NN for Caroline could be Carrie, Lina.

    Love Eleanor! DH and I were discussing names for future girls (already have Charlotte Grace picked for this one) and we both loved it! So many cute NN choices!

    Mum only ever had nicknames of "Caz" or "CJ". Oh or "Cazza". Hates all and when we mentioned we wanted to dedicate our middle name slot to Caroline, she put her foot down. I like Carolina though, it's a pretty name!

    My niece is Caroline and goes by Callie. I like both- I am partial to Ellie, as that is my daughter's name. (Elisabeth nn Ellie)
