Hyperextended neck in 20wk US

We had our ultrasound at 20wks, baby kept hyper extending it's neck, which I thought was strange (the tech said it was perfectly normal). Now at 21wks we had our follow up with doc, when I mentioned it she rechecked the scans and recommended a "level 2" ultrasound. Freaking out a little!! Anyone have any experience with this? Everything else seems normal.

    I have had one ultrasound show they "hyper neck" or how my Dr explained thick neck...... we had my high risk Dr do a follow up and he seen everything was fine But to be on the safe side they did very in depth bloodwork that can conform there is / is not a problem. In my case my blood screen came back perfect so they are guessing the tech that scanned me the first time was a little off in measurements. I Hope all works out for you. :)
