So i went to a walk in clinic this am to confirm pregnancy so i can schedule with an OB. I didn't have am not blood test just urine and saw those pretty pink lines again! I'm just curious how long until I'll get to hear a heartbeat? My first OB apt is just health history but then what? Dying to know what comes next! ♡

    This is my 3rd pregnancy, all of my first OB appointments have always been after 7 weeks so I was able to hear the heartbeat. This time they scheduled me at 6 weeks and come to find out I ovulated late so I'm actually a week behind so I couldn't hear it. From everything I've read though you can hear it at 6 weeks. They scheduled me to go back at the end of the month. Needless to say I'm pretty anxious to hear my babies heartbeat too.

    You can see it via ultrasound around 6 weeks and hear it by Doppler by around 10 weeks

    This is our third baby and with my first I heard it at 9 weeks my second baby not until 12 weeks. OB tried to find it at 8 weeks with my second baby, but couldn't and said it's nothing to worry. She found it no problem at our next month appt. It sucks when they can't find it at you first appt, but you have to remember how tiny that baby is and due to position and your weight they may not be able to pick it up just yet.
