My LO has a giraffe ball popper toy by Playskool that he just loves! He always grabs it out of the toy box first and has figured out how to press on it to make the balls go.
Maybe this is a no-no, but hot wheels cars are his absolute favorite. My mom gave him one for Christmas (for when he was older), and it's been his favorite thing to carry, drive along on various surfaces, and bang on stuff ever since then. Also, his Zany Zoo (thanks A14 for that idea!).
@mommyofmac we have Big Sophie (the usual) and little Sophie with handy grippers that goes everywhere (daycare, in the car, etc). He's not happy without little Sophie.
It's super random, but Jake loves this little yellow plastic shovel. I don't even know where it came from, but out of all the toys we have, it's the front runner.

Her favorite toy would be a fisher price puppy that sings and tells stories. Also doors/books anything that opens! She has recently discovered the fridge opens....

I'm always amazed at how strong they are but opening the fridge?! Yikes!

I could lie, but I won't. LO's favorite thing is paper. That kid would eat paper all day if I let her. (I don't) second favorite: Elmo .
Oh, paper! Such a favorite. We have had many crying fits over paper being taken out of LO's hands and a wad of mushy, chewed up paper swiped out of his mouth. Also, hooded sweatshirt strings. He could play with those for hours on end (and did today)!
We have these Minnie Mouse ride on / push cars that the girls love to sit on. They also love to pull wipes out of the container and bang anything that will make noise on the tile floor (today it was plastic maracas).
And I love that Talltrees spelled favourite with a U.

I know! It's crazy how strong those little arms can be!
Zany Zoo! Although tonight she tried to pull up on it like she's done a hundred times before and it toppled over on top of her. Now I'm trying to decide if there's some way to weigh it down...?

My LO has done this too. Let us know if you figure out a solution. Mine has been just to sit and hold it the whole time he's playing with it, but that seriously limits the ability of the awesome Zany Zoo and its magical entertaining powers to let me get anything else done...

Lol, I know. We have tons and tons of toys, but LO would rather chew on newspaper, fliers, catalogs, mail, magazines.... Here she is going through our mail.
DS loves empty water bottles and paper too. For actual toys right now he has a big plastic transport truck that carries cars on it. He loves rolling the truck all over.
The zany zoo, activity table (has a computer that she loves to open and close) and a hippo thing you drop balls in and they start bouncing. That was the first thing she crawled too!
DD also loves paper/cardboard and tries to eat it. She has a few lovey blankets that have rattle animal toys attached that she has to snuggle with to sleep and just play with (we learned the hard way with her DS that we need to rotate them so she doesn't get to attached to just one). She got this little FP vanity table/mirror that lights up and has little toys that go with it that she loves, especially looking in the mirror. She also loves playing with DS's toys, like playing with his cars, trains and tools with him.
Re: Favourite toy?
And an empty tissue box is a close second.

He loves playing with the Zany Zoo and any cars and trucks. He's also claimed the stethoscope from big brother's B. Dr set. He takes it everywhere.
Baby Boy #2 is on the way!
