My spam: tomorrow is my due date and I had a big appointment scheduled for today. I just got a call that it was canceled [-X Trying not to freak out, but I won't lie - I started Kim Kardashian crying during Katy Perry's magical shark routine yesterday out of prodromal labor frustrations! Let's get this show on the road!!!

So, my cat has been sick. He's long haired and this happens every so often, I think he just has a hairball that's passing the hard way.
Anyway, I spent the morning drugging him and trying to give him a bath. Not super successful. Here's hoping my having to help him with cleaning will end before baby arrives. I'd like only one poopy butt to wipe, preferably the non furry one!

I don't know, but I hate it. I'm starting to think that XO is doing everything in their power to make what decent aspects of The Bump that were left as crappy as possible.

Have you tried Laxatone? It definitely helps with hairballs! And a lot of cats like the flavor.

Yes yes yes! I gave him some yesterday and I'll be starting him on a regimen. We call it kitty drano

Here's my Monday spam...: I'm jealous of all the birth announcements! Due on Wednesday and still no baby. Plenty of prodomal but NOTHING!!!! I know she needs to stay in and I'm super happy for all the new mommies but I want to be one too

LO and I went to the Drs today for thrush. My ped was not happy at all that the on call dr told me to supplement him with formula. So we are back to pumped milk for 48 hours until my meds kick in for the thrush.
I finally have my laptop up in running so hopefully I can pop on later and FINALLY change my display name.

Today, I have sadly turned into one of the ladies asking myself "is this labor?". I'm not asking internet strangers though

I'm waiting to see what happens. Let's just say if these are contractions and I'm waiting until they're 5 minutes apart to go in, I'm begging for my intrathecal the minute I get there.
I'm 38 weeks today! Me and my cat have just been hanging out in bed.

In other news, I made my own hands free pumping bra today!! Just took an old sports bra and cut a hole big enough for the end of the flange to go through. I now have use of both hands!!

I managed to get an appointment with another midwife today and she made me feel like I was totally crazy. Every question I asked she didn't have an answer for, and I felt like a liar half the time (like she didn't believe a word I said). My due date is tomorrow and it doesn't look like LO is coming out anytime soon.

Not going to lie, this woman made me want to run to TB and start asking medical questions like a drive-by. Someone talk me down! Haha...

I am not due until 2/26 and I am so over having to work. I wish I could be done soon but my last day is 2/27 or unless baby makes an early appearance. I don't want baby to make an early appearance but boy the end of February seems forever away when your a teacher!

It may be time. I'm contracting. I'm 80% effaced. No dilation. On Thursday there was no change to my cervix when she checked. (I know it doesn't mean much) My blood pressure is high. They said they'd keep me if my cervix continues to change or if my blood pressure stays up. They're waiting on me to be able to pee to see if I need fluids from throwing up and the diarrhea. Which I been doing all day! I just turned 38 weeks today.
Edit: I originally thought I had a stomach virus and was just cramping,not contracting, glad I came in anyways!

@Ace226 Your poor kitty! My dog has been hornking up a storm all day, too.

So I've always said I would work up until I could see the baby's head, but I just went home at lunch today and slept for six hours. Three more weeks of this to go...

Same. Mine has been missing for days after I changed my username. Sometimes it even decides to use generic avatars from The Knot. Nothing like clinking champagne glasses as the pregnant lady's user picture...

I'm headed home for now to wait things out. I was prescribed medicine for the nausea and diarrhea. I'm really hoping these contractions either pick up or die down.

I did hear a woman screaming some choice words because they weren't giving her an epidural fast enough. Now I'm back to being nervous. :-S

@Alyllyra‌ I want this baby OUT. I've been in early labor since 7a.m but was sent home to wait things out. I just want to be admitted,get my epidural,and get this over with. Especially when they told me I could be laboring like this at home for a few days. I went from 0% effaced and 0% dilated to 80%/0 cm. Even though it doesn't really mean too much it makes me feel good knowing there's progress within the last 24 hours.

Edit: Lol,I'm sorry. I just noticed I was kind of venting to you.

It sounds so rough, though. Hang in there, momma, you are doing great!

It sucks that it could take a few days, but it could also be much faster so don't give up hope. Hope you are able to get some rest.
