Barely any symptoms

Hey yall,
I am 6w5d and I feel like I barely have any symptoms. The main thing is not wanting to eat and I'm tired during the day. I feel like there should be a lot more going on. I'm kind of worried but I haven't had any cramping nor bleeding. And I take my prenatals everyday. Is anyone else experiencing this? I am terrified of having a miscarriage...

Re: Barely any symptoms

  • I also don't have any symptoms beyond cramping and perpetual exhaustion! I'm also 6w, and my doctor said it is normal. Maybe we are just part of the lucky few that don't experience morning sickness!

  • I didn't have very many symptoms with my last pregnancy and everything was fine. I feel good this time around too. I think we're just the lucky ones who don't have awful morning sickness.
  • With my first pregnancy the only symptom I had first trimester was fatigue at the end if the day. Just enjoy it! You'll soon experience some unpleasant part of pregnancy
  • My last pregnancy I had zero problems, no nausea, a little bit of breast tenderness at first, but that went away. Be happy that you are one of the few with no problems! This pregnancy is horrible symptom wise for me so far compared to the last one! :)
  • Man I love being pregnant then!!! Lol (: knock on wood it stays this way throughout the whole first trimester.
  • I have few symptoms... Breast tenderness, mild cramping and fatigue. I have a question though, I have a terrible cold my doctor says no meds! Isn't there anything I can take at all?
  • I'm not sick either. I guess we are lucky. I can deal with the soreness. I actually have a ton of energy all day long, I even ran a total of 30miles last week. I'm an active person and I hope this doesn't change.
  • So glad you posted this! I'm 6 weeks and 3 days and I have been STRESSING about not having any major symptoms. You have the exact same symptoms that I do! I'm just fatigued and have recently lost my appetite even though I know I'm hungry. Nothing sounds good to me! I'm just going to say that we're one of the lucky ones! Best of luck and congrats on your pregnancy!

  • My midwives gave me a list of meds that were allowed @trinijenib‌, unfortunately, it looks like there's nothing here for general cold symptoms. I see Robitussin-DM & Delsym on the list as safe options for a cough, if you're dealing with that. But, this is a general list, and you should probably listen to your doc on that one, just in case they have specific recommendations for you. Either way, good luck with your cold! I had one too...lasted 2.5 wks. Lots of water and rest seemed to keep me feeling ok. Hope you recover soon!
  • Same here, 7 weeks 1 day and I have had zero nausea and pretty much just get sleepy At like 3pm. I had severe breast tenderness up until last week, but that's about it. Definately Feeling lazy and hungry! The dr said its fine, but to give it time and everyone is different.
  • I'm 6 weeks and 3 days and I have a little fatigue and sometimes very mild nausea, usually when I'm trying to sleep at night. My nipples were sore for like 2 weeks and that went away too. I have an increased semse of smell which is off putting but otherwose i feel fine. With my first daughter I got sick from weeks 8-12 and with my second daughter weeks 6 through 8 and that's it.
  • @trinijenib‌ I had a cold too and I was told I couldn't take anything until the second trimester. She also couldn't give me the flu shot because I was sick. I loaded up on vitamin D and C and am feeling better. With my first pregnancy I had a lot of sinus issues so my dr suggested I take Benadryl as needed once I hit the second tri.
  • I had very little symptoms at 6 weeks as well. I'm now 8 weeks and 5 days and it finally hit me two days ago. I've been more tired than ever and have been getting "morning sickness" at night. It is definitely starting to feel more real now.
