Hello, So my hubby and I have been TTC since December. I have had only 1 period (in December 26th it was) and am 11 months PP. Anyway I took 3 tests already, two of them being a bit early and the third I took last week. All came back negative but my period is "late" technically...but I've got the glow/pink cheeks, shortness of breath, thicker CM, headaches and had bad cramps like I did with my first. Should I take another test? It's hard to tell when I should take one since my cycle is still messed up gah!
Yeah I've heard all those things about how you can get pregnancy like symptoms when your period is coming which I've had before but I've never had the whole glow/blushing cheeks before so that is odd but maybe it means nothing. Will pry just retest in a week I suppose!
And I'm also charting and know about when I ovulated so it wouldn't shock me if I was pregnant and tested too early but then I'd also not be shocked if I wasn't either because it took us six months to conceive my first so this would be way fast if I was!
If you're charting you would know exactly when you ovulated and we wouldn't be having this discussion. AF is never late. Ever. You just ovulate later than normal.
If you go 60 days without AF or a + HPT, call your doctor. Until then, chill the fuck out.
@KawaiiKitsune I do use an app but then I also chart on paper since my app can't take into account specifics such as the fact that I'm bf'ing and am not really on a normal cycle still since being PP. But since my cycle is messed up and I've only had one period, I didn't know if I would have a normal period this month so I tested early, which I normally wouldn't have done but I thought I'd give it a go since I tested early with my first and it was positive). But I was too early go figure but that's ok

MQF You answered your own question.
Also disregard my previous comment. When you were so adamant that you charted I thought you meant you were temping. Those charting apps are cramp. Check out FF and get yourself a thermometer.

I think your BMB is the appropriate place to post a BFP. Not here.
Hi! I would suggest going to your doctor and taking a blood test. I was about 4 months pregnant with my first and had 2 negative results when I first took the tests. Being that it was my first pregnancy, I thought I felt different, but couldn't be sure I was pregnant because the tests came back negative. Turns out, my doctor didn't even give me a blood test. He examined me, and knew I was pregnant based on the colour of my cervix. Also, could it be possible you're testing too early? good Luck!

No need to update, this is considered rude. Move along, please.

Yes. I welcome anyone who is ttgp and hopes to get and/or recieve support to post on a ttgp board... And i hope they get pregnant! It makes me HAPPY to hear others' successes on this journey. So go ahead and tell me I'm a terrible person for that, but you aren't going to change what I appreciate in the world, especially not the potential for new life.

I hope you enjoy a shit ton of drive bys. If you are unlucky enough to be here for years and years, you will get tired of complete strangers rubbing their pee sticks in your face. Think about how hurtful that is to someone who has never had a BFP themselves. I think that to be part of a "community" you need to give support in order to receive it. So it is your choice to squee about all the driveby BFP, but it will get old fast.
If I am here longer than a year since starting ttgp, I'll move to a different board, but I still don't see myself being hurt by another persons joy. That's why those exist separate from this one. Clearly we have different visions of what this community is supposed to be. And I'm happy to agree to disagree. I stand by my comment, I appreciate the OP sharing with us and wish her all the best in the next step of her journey.

Let me clarify, I'm not saying everyone should automatically move on when they first fall in the tttc category (or any of the other boards). I apptecieate that those ladies ho have been here for awhile DO stick around to give us that are newer here advice.
However, I am saying that I believe this is a board designated for those who are not specifically having trouble, and "have a 20% chance each cycle". Thus sometimes hearing the one in five that do have success each month (within a thread that had been posted pre-bfp) does give ME hope and joy amid my frustration, even if they aren't long term members/posters. I CANNOT speak for the community as a whole, only for myself. I am saying *I* appreciate the good news, I'm not saying everyone does. Thank you for letting me have my opinion freely, and you can have yours. I'm done defending myself against those who think my optimism and positivity are a load of crap, and I'm not going to change my attitude or my postings. If you find my posts so hurtful and offensive go into your settings and hide them.

Would you go to the store and walk up to a complete stranger to announce your pregnancy? Hopefully not. Just because this is the internet, it doesn't make it okay. This is still a community of people, even if it isn't face to face.
Should also mention my milk supply has def decreased
My milk supply decreases leading up to my period (this is fairly common) so I wouldn't take that as a sign of anything.
Because you are bfing, your cycles may be wonky and irregular. Unless you are charting, it will be hard for you to know when you ovulate and thus when you can test with accuracy.
Otherwise, what walbs said. Without a + test it's all just symptom spotting.

Congrats. However, your new BMB or first trimester would have been a more appropriate place for this update.
