Who's snowed in today??

Holy snow! We're in Michigan. They were saying 6-8 initially.. it's more like 14 with huge drifts! There are easily 2 ft drifts in my driveway. Hubby has been out plowing 10 hours yesterday and he left at 3am this morning to go plow again.  I'm home with the kiddos.  Schools everywhere are closed. Initially, the school called with closing but said the daycare center was open which shocked me.  But then they emailed last night to say that the daycare would also be closed. My kids are thrilled to be home with mom today.  Mom is thrilled too.. but I'm on my laptop working. :(  I've been trying to reach the pediatrician because my DD is sick. Today she seems a little bit better. She's had a fever since Friday night. I was thinking she might have strep because her tongue looked kind of white but this morning it doesn't look bad. Her nose is like a faucet and she's coughing a lot. Maybe it's just a cold. I haven't given her any motrin this morning and she's acting fine.

    ohio here and yes lots of snow.  All schools are stuff are closed...which doesn't matter too much because mine do school at home.  They sometimes want to get snow days when schools are out but we don't because its better to do school now when its cold and then you end up getting out one day earlier in the spring for summer break.

    My husband works from home when he is not traveling so he doesn't even have to worry about driving in the snow.  We are fully stocked on groceries...so the snow has little effect on us!

    I purposely went grocery shopping Friday night so I wouldn't have to worry about it. Saturday was fine.. so we were out and about all day. It started about midnight Saturday night and stopped sometime early this morning. I don't mind having another 'stay at home day' as my DS calls it. :)

    We are expecting 10-14 here in Massachusetts today. However, after last weeks 34 inches everyone is calling this a small snow storm. Schools are closed, but there was no convincing work into another snow day. It was hard enough to get them to allow us to stay home with 34 inches.

    Yep, snowed in here. I am in Indiana, and kids are home from school. All the schools around us closed last night. My hubby had to take my van to work today, because there is not way he could take his car. I put my kids to work today. Lol! We have been moving stuff around to try and get ready for baby.

    We were told 6-10 inches in my part of Ohio. We got flurries.

    Upstate New York here and I couldn't be happier to be snowed in! I'm a teacher and my school closed at 5am this morning. Such a nice relaxing day. My sweet husband is a teacher too and he just came in from shoveling the driveway. He's a saint!

    We got 32 inches just last week, now we are looking at 14-16 today. Oh and another storm heading our way possibly Thursday and the weekend.

    Just north of NYC here and snow day here too. I don't know our snow totals but it's several inches and the bigger problem is that it started raining/sleeting half way through so there's a nice coating of ice too. I think it finally stopped snowing, but temps are dropping now.
