I used to always say I want only boys. Then I thought it doesn't matter. Then I was psyched at the idea of a little girl one day inheriting all my fab clothes. Then my friends with daughters scared me again but the only names I truly love are girls names. I'm just pleading with the universe that she's healthy. I mean...or he!
We already have one of each and as long as baby is happy and healthy I'm good. That being said DH said if it's a girl than he doesn't want to try for a 4th bc we could potentially end up with 3 teenage girls:) So I'm kinda hoping it's a boy just so I don't have to accept that we are done.
I have always wanted a little girl, so I'm convinced I won't get one! Now that I have one little boy, I adore being a mommy to boys, so I'd be ok with that :-) If they're healthy, I'm happy. Though I have very different symptoms this time (holy boobs!!!!), so who knows.
I've always wanted a girl, and I have a boy already, so both my husband and I are sort of hoping for a girl. I'm craving fruit and vegetables and cheese instead of junky food this time, and I'm constantly cold instead of hot, but otherwise it's about the same as before . . .
I wanted my son to be a girl so badly I thought he was a girl till 19 weeks when we saw his penis on the ultrasound. But I love being a boy mom and I love the bond my son has with his daddy. He doesn't say "mama!" with nearly the enthusiasm that he says "dada!"
I feel like if I have a girl, my family will be complete, but if I have another boy I might want to try for a girl.
Honestly though, I'll be so happy to make it to 20 weeks this time I won't care if it's a boy or a girl as long as we have a healthy baby.
But if anyone asks, we're going with, "we're hoping it's a dinosaur."
I want a boy and I think it's a boy. My husband thinks I'm crazy, but is humoring me by coming up with boy names. All I want to eat is meat and spicy food. I'm starting to like the (gross) foods my husband likes. My skin is clear and it took a hot minute for my HCG levels to rise high enough to get a positive test (which is common with boys.) And the Chinese calendar said so. If the baby turns out to be a girl I will be in shock! Our guest bedroom (which will be the nursery) is already blue, so a boy would be very convenient.

It bothers me that some people are posting discouraging things on here instead of just playing along. This post was asking IF you had a guess. Not IF you believed guessing works. Lighten up and if you're not here to guess your own baby's gender, then stay off this post and let the rest of us have our fun!

You go on and have your fun girlfriend, but you can't dictate who posts in what thread. You don't own the internet yo!
I'm thinking girl, H is convinced it's a boy because everyone in his family has boys. Chinese calendar was right with my son and now it says girl so I think my feeling is right...it's fun to speculate anyway
I'm craaaving sweets and keep having dreams about a girl. I've always wanted just boys but the more I think about having a girl and sharing such a great bond with her gets me psyched! I'd be happy either way.
Chinese calendar says girl, had 2 or 3 dreams about having a boy (and a preemie but I'm just not going to worry myself right now), had a dream of twins (because my belly is too huge for 6 weeks) and DH and I both want a boy.

Your odds are 50/50. IRL, on a chinese paper chart, if you do things with pencils and wedding rings... 50/50 people.
