Just had my first ultrasound ever - first pregnancy, first appointment. Should be 9 weeks, 1 day or more - cycles very steady, and I know when I ovulate b/c mittelschmrez pain which stops when the egg leaves the ovary. Tested positive December 22, 7 days before missed period - no bleeding, minor cramping. Baby was there, but measured only 6 weeks, sac was large, no heartbeat. I'm devastated...this is my worst fear. I had some symptoms, but not many (no m/s, for example)
OB says to come back in for another u/s in a week, then we'll see. Has anyone ever had that week later u/s work out at 10 weeks?
UPDATE 1 -
Feeling very anxious as my follow up appt is this afternoon. I started spotting (TMI) brown on saturday, and it has been intermittent since then. No cramping. I broke down in church on Sunday, just so upset - should have known not to go on "Healing Sunday." The hymn "Healer of my Every Ill" has never hit me so hard. Thoughts and prayers appreciated! Will let you know how it goes later today...
Re: 9 week ultrasound - not good news -- UPDATE
I'm sorry youre going through this. Hang in there and stay positive. From being on this forum, I have actually seen a few ladies go throught the same situation you are going through. So hang in there, rest, try to stay positive and God willing when you go back you will get good news. You are in my thoughts and prayers
