    Probably because it violates some stupid TOU about not posting personal blogs or some shit.  Serious question: does The Bump consider shit a curse word under the new TOU?

I was fine with them trying to change the tone of the boards - I felt like they own the boards, so if they want to tweak them, well who am I to say differently. I was less than okay with the way they were banning people without warning, and really disliked how they treated the hardworking mods. But to say that everything I post here *belongs* to them? Sorry, no. I may lurk and post occasional advice, but my days of posting *anything* at all remotely personal are done.

    @maasybaby‌ Can we add this info to the birth announcement post? I feel like people should be aware of this before they decide if they want to post pics of their newborn.

    I've just added a sentence to the original post and a link to the TOU. I didn't add the exerpt itself (yet) because I'm afraid big brother will use it as an excuse to delete the thread... I don't really trust them not to at the moment! Is the edit clear/informative enough?

    It looks good! I think it would be really shitty of them to delete the thread for refering to the TOU, but at this point I wouldn't put anything past them...

    It's just creepy.  I'm sorry, but just because I use this site, doesn't give you the right to use photos of my minor child for your own purposes without my permission.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't even think Facebook does that.  And regardless of it's in the TOU, I can foresee someone suing if they were to use that person's pictures without permission.

    It says this was posted in November. I don't recall seeing this the last few times I lurked there.

    @Xoxolicia‌ I've seen it. It's been up a month at the most. I also think it's total horse crap. Half the stuff they "don't control or do" is what they're doing!

    I thought you wanted your members to familiarize themselves with the TOU to know what to do and what not to do on this site, but when @AmyG* points out what it actually says she gets a warning? That's a total double standard, not to mention shitty as hell. Stop playing the deletion game and come out with an explanation to ALL your members about this. We deserve to know.

    Yeah, you're right. I just felt like I had to try at least... I feel more like a fool everyday for thinking they would actually answer some of the questions about the bannings. Silly me.
