I'm 8 weeks today and have been having lots of food aversions and nausea for the past 2 weeks. The last 2 days I haven't had any, is that normal to fluctuate or is that a possible sign of MC?
I've been up and down myself. Yesterday I could barely get out of bed and was sick and tired all day, and today I'm feeling great I'm not sure it means anything- it seems like everyone experiences different symptoms. Hang in there
I had the same thing happen to me. I went a couple of days without any nausea and it freaked me out...but it is back as of yesterday...with a vengeance!
At the beginning of the week I was eating a small meal every 3hrs to keep the queasiness at bay (I've not yet been close to dry heaving or even getting sick). I teach 1st grade so my I was packing way more than just my lunch. But the last 2days I haven't even felt like eating much of anything.
I finally felt better today and was able to eat. I did dry Heave this morning but felt pretty good most of the day and actually got hungry. I am going back in forth in my head between being happy and being worried something g is wrong.

This is me exactly and I've been freaking out over it. I read that the placenta starts to take over around 8 weeks and it can reduce nausea. Not sure how accurate that is but I'm going with it. We saw the heartbeat at 7 weeks so I'm praying everything is still ok in there.
I am 8 weeks 1 day and starting yesterday, my nausea has been SO MUCH BETTER. Its still there but I actually didnt wake up with it first thing in the morning and it only started to hit around lunch time. And I haven't thrown up!! They gave me Zofran because it was so severe yet the Zofran wasn't making a dent. Now I can take it and it actually helps! I am feeling much better overall and for the record, this has never happened with any of my other pregnancies. This is the first pregnancy where I am actually getting a slight break from morning sickness lol
Momma to Dakota (3/21/06), Willow (7/22/09), Scarlett (1/9/11)
I honestly wouldn't be worried about a MC unless you have bleeding/cramping or some other really worrisome symptom. {Just my opinion of course.} Otherwise, like a PP said, enjoy your good days!
I am 9 weeks tomorrow and PROUD to say my nausea has tapered off. I still have other strong symptoms but I am ecstatic about getting over the nausea!!
I don't know if I've just finally learned to manage it or if it's truly tapered off, but I'm doing The Happy Dance. Of course, it's a mental dance bc I have zero energy.
I wouldn't bank on one symptom being the determinant of your pregnancy.
U envy you all ! I'm 8w2d and sick as ever. I keep hoping I wil wake up the next day and it will be gone, but so far it's gotten worse instead for better. Even with Diclegis !
I stopped trying to get to work on time(with permission from my boss) and went two days without vomiting. I thought I had beat morning sickness, but it's back with a vengeance. Just waiting and hoping for the day when I can feel normal and functional again!
I am 9wk 4 days and have been feeling much better the last two days. I still dry Heave first thing in the morning and felt naseous at dinner yesterday but the all damn day sickness seems to be letting up. I am finally hungry again. My other symptoms are in full swing...moodiness, gas, bloating and sore boobs.
With my first my nausea stopped all of a sudden right around the end of the first trimester. It's hard sometimes late in the first trimester early second trimester when you are feeling better and you can't feel the baby yet for that reassurance to know that things are ok. Stay calm and you will know if something is wrong. I'd say as long as you arnt bleeding or anything to that extreme you should be ok but if you are still worry call your doctor!

Good luck!
