Gentian Violet

Has anyone used Gentian Violet for thrush? I'm wondering if it will help the thrush on me as well as for baby? Tell me about how you used it - how often, how much, how'd you do it, and if it worked. If you have any other tips for thrush (especially for the nips!), I'd appreciate them! Really ready to get rid of this pain. Thanks :)

    I've been wiping with vinegar 3 times a day and after letting that air dry puttingon Mothers Love Thrush and Diaper Rash ointment. Its done wonders!! Airing out whenever possible is hugely helpful as well.

    You put it on your nipples (I usually put on 3 times a day right after o nurse so it has time to soak in a bit) you don't need to wipe off. :)

    Just to clarify the Diaper rash/thrush ointment was given to me by the LaLeche leader in my area and it is recommended for use on your nipples for nursing to treat thrush on your nipples.
