My little one has been walking for a week but I swear she stands and is mobile most of the day. My question is when does one actually get shoes? I've never put anything expect baby booties on LO and she's still in just socks when we're out.
My pedi said no shoes while they are learning to walk. She said she wants them to be able to feel the floor while learning to walk. I got DD a pair of Robeez for when going out and about.
If you SAH, it really depends on your lifestyle and when your LO starts insisting on getting down as to when you'll *need* shoes. Otherwise, keep them barefoot around the house, while running errands, etc. I had to get shoes because we're at the park a lot with my older kids and once she started pulling up she wanted to get down and cruise along the picnic tables. We have a pair of Robeez
