Donating Breast Milk

has anyone ever donated Breast Milk to a local children's hospital? I'm so considering this because my LO had heart surgery the day he was born and I just feel so passionate about helping other moms out. But I'm just not sure.

    You can always call the hospital and see what there rules about donating are or they can point you in the right direction.

    Yeah, I did a lot of research on the company our children's hospital uses. I'm going to call on Monday and see what restrictions I need to have with my diet and vitamins in order to donate. Then once in done with my milk I will donate what I have left :) thanks

    I just donated about 200 oz to Mothers Milk Bank of Colorado. They ask that you don't drink within 12 hrs of pumping, and you can't take much (drug or supplement wise), but I'm so glad I was able to donate my high lipase milk as my LO wouldn't drink it.
