My hands and feet have started the lovely swelling. Ugh. I was hoping to avoid that for a while. I did read it's common to start noticing it around 20 weeks, and as long as it's not sudden or extreme, it's okay.

I'll be emailing my principal today to let her know I'll be sitting a lot while I'm teaching. Thankfully I have a class where this is feasible. I'm also going to chat with my doctor about it next week to double check on severity and when to be worried. Especially since I have high blood pressure already.

Anyone else got sausage fingers or fat feet?
  • 20 weeks and STILL tired as f*ck. Only now I can't sleep as well cause my hips hurt from laying on my sides. I end up flipping over many times a night. And I tweaked my ankle on Wednesday thanks to relaxin, and I have to work tonight till 2am (I bartend) so I'll be on my feet ALL night long. Already the day after I work I feel like my feet are crippled, and yes, they are swollen, especially after working. Hooray, let's have a pickle =\

  • Loading the player...
  • Burst blood vessels on my right breast, Google just keeps telling me I have cancer, someone put my mind at rest haha! I haven't knocked, bumped barged into anything and I haven't worn a bra since Tuesday (lazy I know)
  • I still have morning sickness which is BS. And, yes, tired.

  • My hips HURT. Like, any time I put weight on my left leg, I get shooting pain. I've done a bit of research and basically it's probably just because everything's shifting around, but it looks like worst case it's probably that baby girl is sitting on my sciatic nerve (that would be my bet, since it's mainly just on my left side). I will definitely be bringing this up to my doctor at my next appointment! Anyone else experiencing this?

  • @gabriellamason93‌ I have burst blood vessels in my left breast. I noticed this about a month or two ago and it went away. Could it be that our boobs are growing at exponential rates? Lol. I never thought too much about it but nice to know someone else has it too.
I am beginning to feel the start of a pity party. I don't know if it's winter blues or that I feel lonely. I am not depressed just wishing for the warm spring/summer days where I can be outside! Looking forward to gardening! Living in my igloo in Canada takes a toll on my sun tan up here! Blah! Haha

  • Woke up with a migraine, that I luckily caught in time to tame. Back hurts. Hips hurt. Developing a monster vein between my boobs. Sexy here. :)

  • @MJMum524‌ I have no idea why I didn't really think about that! Yeah it probably is the growing and stretching, also relieved to know someone else has noticed it!

  • My skin is dry between the cold air and the baby sucking all the moisture out of me. My job doesn't allow us to drink unless we're on break so I get very thirsty and sometimes dehydrated. My BP has been high so my OB wants me to keep an eye on it. Some nausea in the mornings again. And constantly STARVING!!

I'll second the hip pain apparently my hips have decided to do all there growing today.
  • My tailbone hurts by the end of the day. I have to get up and move to a new position so it doesn't hurt as bad :(  Also, my pregnancy brain is driving DH crazy!!
  • @thepalindromicone‌

Nightly heartburn after dinner. X( fortunately good relief with TUMS!

    Same here!
I remember with my first heartburns started later in pregnancy but this time around it's really early. I am not ready for this :( It gets worse before bedtime. I have to sit up in my bed to help it go down :( I think eating and drinking nothing 2 or 3 hours before going to bed could help... I should try.
  • My hips start to hurt during the night and then are fine... But of course then I'm getting less sleep.
  • Yeast infection, pelvic pain, and sciatic pain. Worst yeast infection of my life!
  • Hip pain, back pain, RLP, RLS. Ugh. No sleep for me!
  • 18 +4 today and still have horrible nausea and back pain. I'm exhausted all the time. Also have acid reflux and heartburn like crazy. Makes for one miserable mommy.
  • My symptom is annoyance. Why even have this thread anymore if everyone just posts their own thread with their SS symptom? there is no one here anymore to keep order and it drives me nuts. Why am I here? ok back to proboards I go.

  • Exhausted, still nauseous, hungry all the time, extreme back pain, feet/ankles are swelling and I'm worried that my hands are starting to also.
  • Lower leg cramps and now I'm choking down bananas to increase potassium. Yuck.
  • Hips hurt when I'm sleeping and back is hurting/feeling tight. Veins in my boobs are also out of control, and I am hungry constantly!
  • @hoodoll82‌ try potatoes instead of bananas. You have to eat the skins but they have a lot more potassium than bananas.
